With quilt covers throws etc have to stop the machine to give them a shake as tends to go into a ball. The handbook guide on what the different settings are for are not very explanatory. I have looked on you tube and online to see what they are/ mean to no avail!!

Had this for a month and so far so good. Lots of different drying options that come with automatic drying times, doubt that I’ll use them all. Can’t see that you can preset your own timings, but that’s not an issue at the moment. Easy to clean filter. Nice large drum. Not overly noisy but then it is in a separate room.

I too bought this dryer because I had been so pleased with previous dryers. DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER. It’s awful. I completely agree with other reviews. Too complex, does not dry properly, tangles clothes. I am going to try to return this dryer. Total waste of money. To top it all, every change of dial is accompanied by irritating bleep. Drives me nuts!!!

Huge capacity and superb value

Awful it takes so long to dry anything - it has a mind if it’s own snd never stops it’s a nightmare I would like to get another one as soon as I save up enough money

This was a replacement for an old Hoover. I assumed that it would be as simple and efficient as the previous one which had worked well for many years. The pointless complexity of programming is extremely irritating. I want a heat setting and a timer. And it simply doesn't work - whatever the setting. Clothes with legs or sleeves are wound into tight balls of fabric, still wet in the middle. Even worse with sheets and duvet covers - no point putting them in. Regretfully I will be replacing this - and NOT with a Hoover.

This tumble dryer is lovely and quiet and has a great size drum, I’m loving the short cycle

Purchased a new Hoover H-DRY 300 Lite due to being listed as energy efficient. The energy saving is clearly because it is totally unusable! Have had a Hoover engineer out who confirmed they don’t work due to the single direction drum action. Hoover told me to take everything out every 10 minutes to de-ball the items (which roll themselves into tight, wet bundles). Steer clear - this product is not fit for purpose
