All good but wiring box a tight squeeze.

    4/5
Simple to swap and works really efficiently. The only minor complaint so far is that the wiring box/compartment on the back is very small/tight for the size of wiring normally found/used for a cooker.

    Can't hear the alarm

    3/5
Quite noisy except for the timer alarm which is barely audible. Having to use the timer on my phone instead - not great!

Food takes longer to cook but tastes better

    4/5
Food tastes better than with old oven, however takes a lot longer and needs to be on a higher heat than before. Not sure why.

    Disappointing

    1/5
This oven was disappointing. First oven arrived broken. It was quickly and efficiently replaced by AO but the fan was excessively loud and after being replaced twice we finally replaced it with an AEG oven which is great. The service received throughout from AO and Hoover has been brilliant.

Very good oven and reasonably priced.

Excellent item. Doesn’t use a lot of electricity. The only downside is that the numbers written next to the temperature dials are not accurate. Example, between 100 and 150 degrees there’s 4 notches but between 200 and 250 degrees there’s 5 notches haha. It works so not a major issue.

    Replacement

    5/5
This was a replacement for an oven that broke whilst trying to change the oven bulb... I was limited to choice because of the dimensions of the space and this was the best equipped / value of those available. It has not disappointed.

    Disappointed.

Very disappointed with this oven. It takes a long time to pre heat and to cook food. It looks cheap in appearance with poor quality materials used. The insides of the top oven scratched the first time I slid the grill pan in.

A good budget oven, lots of features but very smelly!

    3/5
This oven gets a middling review from me - it's not terrible, it's not fantastic, but it's a nice oven. The good stuff: It looks nice, it wasn't that expensive, the controls are simple, it comes with a grill pan and a (slightly awkward) handle, and it cooks well. Food browns evenly, yes it blows air at you but it's a fan oven, they all do. It also has a grill element in the top of the main oven, so you can get a really good crispy top without having to cram your roast in the upper cavity. The windows are also huge so you can see in easily and drool over your food as it cooks. The bad stuff: IT REALLY SMELLS! Do not ignore the reviews that say it smells when new. It really does. I am not kidding. We ran it empty and at max output for an hour as instructed, the whole house stank for days and I got a headache. It is easing off with use and I have hopes that soon my kitchen will smell like food again and not burning chemicals, but I feel like it took commitment on Hoover's part to make it so bad... The shelves are also really not the best and are rather springy, but I saved the shelves from my old oven which I will be using instead. TL DR: Overall this is a good budget oven, it has lots of cooking functions, but you can't use them until you've burned off whatever chemicals they coated it with and got over the smell.
