    All singing and dancing

    5/5
I've had slimline dishwashers for many years, even in the tiniest of kitchens, I'd sacrifice a cupboard for one, every time! My previous dishwashers have been fine, done the job, but they've always seemed fairly budget in terms of features, but they weren't at a budget price - often more expensive than full size models - slimline meant a high price tag and very little choice. Well, since I last bought one, manufacturers/retailers have obviously recognised there's demand for slimline and really upped their game! I spent aaaaages trying to find the right dishwasher for us. I think I've found it. Wow! What an upgrade this one seems to be! It looks smart and professional in my kitchen, it's so quiet compared to my previous ones. Where I'm really noticing how good it is, is the wash cycle options. My previous dishwashers had 3 or 4 cyles, this has more and then you can alter them to suit your needs. Eg put it on program 2 for a 65c wash, but I want it to finish quicker, so there's a button for that. Also a button to select if you're using tablets. If you want it to run through the night for cheaper electric, there's a timer to set. There's a self cleaning cycle. There's also zone cleaning...definitely not something I've had before, and I haven't worked out how to use it yet. For once I have a dishwasher that doesn't feel second rate compared to a full size machine. This is an all singing and dancing machine, really - it makes a little noise to tell you its finished ??

30min quick wash is 255 minutes

    3/5
3 stars as it does not do a 30minute quickie cycle as claimed. It's s actually 30min washing time followed by the drying time, the cycle taking a total of 255mins. This is its shortest cycle. My elderly inlaws who we bought it for value a quick wash otherwise 'we might as well do it by hand'. I ask them to be latent as on the plus side this quick cycle only uses half a kilowatt. Decent stacking area for a slimline washer. Quiet running and pots clean up well.

    Nice little washer

    4/5
Nice little dishwasher and holds a fair bit for a slimline, super quiet and has a variety of options for washing. The bits I personally don't like is whilst it's very easy to move the top tray up and down, you can't change the little shelves that sit above the mugs, they are quite low and standard mugs don't fit under. Had to take them off.

    Low Price, High Performance

This dishwasher is great - it looks smart in the stainless steel finish, it was easy to install myself, it is very quiet when running a cleaning program and it seems to clean exceptionally well. Also, I noticed that the drying function is superb - there is a minimal amount of water left over on the dishes, cutlery and tupperware in comparison to most dishwashers I have used in the past. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a slimline dishwasher.

Quiet - but takes a bit of adjustment

    4/5
We like the unit - it's very quiet. We've had some issues with the size of our bowls not quite fitting the racks and the sprays not quite getting into the corners of the top rack, but I think it's something we'll get used to over time. Can't fault the build quality, design or operation.

Everything is perfect about this dishwasher. You can hardly hear it. It has many settings to use. Perfect in every way. There is nothing I don't like.

    Meets Expectations

    5/5
The size of our kitchen meant we couldn't go to a full size hence our choosing the slim line, which fits perfectly. Went for Hotpoint over the other makes on offer as we have had their products over the years and haven't been disappointed. Haven't had it long but so far it's working well. have tried the Eco wash and everything is sparkling. Tried the 30min wash for a few items and the dishes came out spotless. So I'm well pleased, it's taken me 64yrs to get a dishwasher. Why did it take me so long?

    Disappointing quality

    2/5
We previously has a Bosch dishwasher which lasted over 20 years. The quality of our new Hotpoint dishwasher is nowhere near as good as our old one and the size of the baskets is smaller with space wasted by pointless handles that protrude into the basket.
