Ordered the hotpoint dishwasher as thought it would be same specification as our old one which we had no complaints about.Unfortunately our plates wont fit in and it takes a lot longer to wash.Wish we had bought the cheaper model now.

Slimline dishwashers one of the best presents I have bought myself. Put away the tea towels as the machine dries everything completely. It does take up less space as the full size dishwasher which is another advantage for this slimline. Easy programs with a bigger choice than the old machine which shows how Hotpoint have developed. Very pleased with the machine.

Excellent product, really quiet, efficient. Good range of programmes & excellent cleaning power. Very happy Lovely steel finish that's actually steel not plastic! Looks expensive

Not had a dishwasher before, but the time saving is fabulous, and the dishes are so much cleaner - cups whiter. The only thing I would say about this particular washer is that it has a heating element (or something - can't remember the technical word) on the end of the pipe, which made fitting slightly more complicated as needed bigger holes cutting in the cupboard - hence the 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise happy with it so far.

I've only had it a short time but seems to work well. 10 year warranty on parts.

This is the second one of these we've owned. We've a small kitchen and 4 hungry adults so it gets lots of work! Very reliable and ultra quiet means you need to look closely to see if it's going. Fits neatly under the worktop with enough programs to cope with anything we've needed. Good build quality as well. The first one lasted a good few years and was only replaced when 'someone' broke the tablet feed in the door.

Must confess I couldn’t live without a dishwasher as life standing at the sink day in day out for hours doesn’t appeal. Needless to say, I love my new dishwasher. It replaces another Hotpoint which I had trouble free for 8 years so it has big boots to fill! I would say its appearance is somewhat retro but its performance and range of programmes are great. It is used 3 x a day effortlessly. The only critical comment I can make is the fanfare to say it’s finished at the end is rather quiet. All in all, I would recommend as essentially the interior/baskets enable ‘you’ to fit all your dirty houseware within reason.
