Product itself was very disappointing whilst in the very short time it worked but ao were excellent in resolving the issue, took it back and swapped for a different cleaner hassle free

Very poor product. Lots of effort to put together. Once I finally was ready to clean carpet, I found it extremely difficult to manoeuvre. Very hard to extract the water from the carpet. Left with a sodden carpet. Don’t waste your money. I was very disappointed.

It had powerful suction but for someone with reduce mobility you may struggle to try scrub your carpets with this as a result as you pretty much have to do all the hard work unlike using a upright Vax I also found given how much water was in the clean tank I wasn't seeing half as much in the dirty tank so sadly I had to return this For someone with muscle power this will be fine for you but if you suffer from any muscular disorders or arthritis just using the trigger will make your wrist hurt I also found it extremely noisy so I think my neighbours will be happy to see it returned The only part I liked was it had really strong suction if you did it by hand scrubbing which gets tiring fast

This is the first carpet washer I have ever bought or owned so I cannot compare to others. I bought Henry to clean my bedroom carpets and a couple of rugs around the house. Maybe I was expecting too much from him as I didn’t think the carpets came up as good as I thought they would, but, like I said I have nothing to compare against. My carpets are fairly old and to be honest they’ve seen their fair share of make up accidents and spillages over the years. My living room rug, which is fairly new, cream, and shaggy, came up lovely. I did find it a bit tricky to put together but now I know where everything goes next time should be a doddle. I think overall Henry is a good carpet cleaner but he’s not a miracle worker.

Let me start by saying that this is the first time I’m buying a Numatic product. I’ve been a regular Forbes user but decided to give the Henry wash a try after a lot of recommendations on the Henry. On the positives, easy to assemble, easy to tuck away in the corner, great with the vacuuming, picks up fine particles of dust. On the flip side, my biggest peeve was the missing last mile precision required in quality control before packaging. The suction ends are required to have a metallic strip which was missing. Caused this to get stuck into the carpets instead of moving smoothly. I’d still recommend this product but hope Numatic takes note of quality checks before dispatch.

With high traffic areas in my home, I tend to clean my carpets regularly so I spend a bit of time every few months with one of these machines. So far, I am yet to try a Henry, even if it has the same name as me! The included accessories were nice, bringing together the ability to clean carpets, upholstery, hardwoods, softwoods, spills, even cleaning your car or caravan. But add to this, the ability to unblock drains and toilets means this unit is an all rounded package. It was a little fiddly to put together and would have been nice to have just had one integrated pole and hose, but at the price point, I am happy to put that to the side. What I wasn't happy to put aside was the fact that the pole had no way of securing it properly so when you are brushing the carpet or surface it kept twisting, meaning I had to keep stopping. A slight design flaw? Maybe? But it was slightly disappointing. The results, well its got a couple of stains out with the included bottle of cleaner, so I was impressed there. For being a clean-ish carpet anyway it took out a lot of dirt. So the results were great, just getting there was a bit rocky. All in all, if you can put up with the few flaws, its a great fit as an all-rounder.

There are lots of tubes and parts when you first open the box - and with some reading up I found that there's a separate solution pipe to the main hose, which is a bit of a nightmare to be honest - it has to be clipped on and off, which means a bit of faffing every time you want to change the cleaning heads. I love the hard floor head however - it has some nice agitation brushes to get up any walked in dirt or paw prints. I just wish there were some kind of brush on the carpet head - as it's just a 'blade' that passes along the carpet. However, judging by the colour of the water once I'd finished, I recon there's quite a bit of suction power going on. Just make sure that once you've gone over an area with the solution, that you make several passes without pressing the solution release, just so it soaks up any excess moisture in your carpet. It was hard work doing the stairs, as the unit is really bulky - and this isn't great for storage either. Overall - this is a nice product that needs some assembly and some time to get your head around the bits and pieces. It's got its flaws, but if you want a nice deep clean - this is something to certainly consider.
