I don’t normally write reviews but I really wish I’d known this before I purchased my Haier. Although you can fit 10.5kg of washing the machine, it doesn’t spin 10.5kg of washing. The clothes still come out very wet indeed. You have to remove half the load and put it through an additional spin. Even then it’s not great. Total pain. Also the basic wash is 3hrs! There’s a ‘fast’ wash that ranges up to about an hour but it doesn’t clean the clothes nearly as well. Really not impressed with this machine at all and wouldn’t recommend. Go for a machine that has 1600 spin if you don’t want to be spending days and days drying your clothes!

I put a rug into this machine this morning, but it never spin well and rug still soggy no matter what I tried 4 or 5 times with different programs, every time at the last minute showed ‘unb end’ which is not normal sign to program ended, I’m so disappointed about it which I bought half a month ago.

Always had Hotpoint before but went for this product as reviews were good, but really don't like machine at all. Spin cycle leaves clothes very wet, washing cycles are really long unless you use fast and then clothes aren't clean enough. Machine has already damaged a pair of my husbands jeans. Only positive thing I can say is that it's quiet.

The machine operated fine at first, but unfortunately broke right on the 2 year mark. AO have been very unhelpful and since Haier don't allow you to just replace the bearings (it has to be a whole drum), it's not economically repairable. Look into the reparability of your machine before buying.

Superb machine, apart from the fact it broke and flooded my kitchen within a month of owning it and the manufacturer took over 2 weeks to send an engineer. Next time I will buy a brand I know and trust.

This is my second review after using the Haier HW100-B1349N washing machine. Initially when first using the washing machine you are relieved by the 10 kilo drum giving you options that are available with smaller washing machines for instance you can easily wash duvets and bedding. Basically this washing machine is the same size as the machines used in Laundretts. But what I wanted to review about this particular model is the programing. At first I thought the new technology was merely copying the advanced German washing machines. But after using for example the synthetics washing cycle with steam clean I realized that this machine uses techniques normally used in a professional laundry service. I washed a 15 year old Nike duffel coat and it came out looking brand new. The fabric had a sheen on it like a new garment. I washed a 40 year old faux fur blanket that was so dirty the original tiger motif was no longer distinctly visible. To my amazement on the synthetics cycle with steam clean it looks nearly like it did when I first bought it. I didn't realize you could revive synthetic fabrics like this. This definitely is new washing technology in a washing machine. Doing a spring clean in my bedroom I realized my mainly polyester shirts were dusty and slightly discoloured in my closet. The synthetic steam clean cycle restored them to their original condition. There is a spin cycle that is like the laundromat spinner at 1400 . I usually spin parts of a load on high speed spin like one pillow at a time and they dry quickly. So when Haier call their certain series machines professional they mean it. The intergrated model has a 1600 spin but the 1400 dries very quickly too. Because of the flexibility of the diverse washing cycles using different laundry soaps are useful. For the Cotton cycle at 40 degrees I use my ecologically friendly laundry balls but for the cycles with steam clean I use liquid or the ecological laundry washing papers. But most fabrics we ware these days are synthetic so that is where this new technology really shines. The advanced machine makes removing stains far easier with my old machine I depended on using stain removers with every wash but will steam clean that is no longer necessary. So when you purchase this machine explore the possibilities of all the various washing cycles to get the best results because you will be surprised what this machine can do. And the icing on the cake is that this machine is very quiet and is A+++ rated. So using this machine keeps your electricity bills down too. Estimating that average yearly electricity use is £20 per year. One of the most efficient designs on the market. The advanced designed motor is gauranteed for 10 years too.

Very disappointing, I loved the look of this machine and the functions it came with such as the steam option and the capacity. Slight larger than I expected but still loved the look. , Now for the negativity of this product, a 40 degree wash required 3 hours 40 mins which is unbelievable. Called out repair man as there was also a F3 fault which was also disappointing for a new machine, but he swiftly repaired this, he reported back the Haier technicians said the 3 hour plus wash was normal for a 40 degree wash. Had to send it back as cannot afford to be washing clothes for over 3 hours. Didn't try any of the other options as wasted enough electricity already. Very disappointed.
