I have never written a review in my life, but as I stand staring at this utter waste of money I feel compelled to tell anyone to please NOT buy this washing machine. I brought this machine last February, so had it nearly a year so this is not a one off. And reason im currently stood staring at it is because the motion direct actually means that unless you are washing a single t-shirt, it will not spin at the end. You will end up with very soggy washing and an error message saying 'unable'. You then have to take whatever you put in with said t-shirt and pray to the gods that it will actually spin (honestly its a 50/50 and God forbid your trying to wash a towel) I spend my life cursing this machine so please don't end up a deranged women, staring at your washing machine at 10.30pm at night

I've had the washing machine for two months now. At first it was great: so, so quiet. I also like the steam option and the seperate spin option. Something's gone wrong. It's gone from working well to now making an absolutely awful noise during spinning. It's under warrenty so an engineer is coming out but I'm not thrilled about already needing an engineer after only 2 months.

It’s early days- we had our last machine 14 years and only got rid of it because it was becoming very noisy! This new machine is smart and very quiet. The skin leaves the clothes much drier than my previous machine. Hope it will last as long!

Brilliant washing machine. Bigger drum than my last washing machine which is brilliant as I have a large family . I love the fast wash which is 57 mins in or you can do an express wash for 15 mins , brilliant if your short on time or need a quick freshen up . It has many features which I haven’t used yet . When the washing machine is spinning on 1400rmp you wouldn’t think it was spinning, it’s that quiet . 10/10 for this machine . I have purchased a product from Haier before and I must say I am impressed

This is a lovely quiet washing machine. Only had it 3 weeks so not sure about its longevity but it seems very well made. One thing I'm not keen on is that when you select a 1 hour programme and press start, it has an internal weighing system that calculates the amount of washing in the machine and then adds time to the cycle. This results in a one hour wash often taking 3 hours! Not the most convenient system but it does a good quiet job of washing clothes so mustn't grumble I suppose!

Pluses: quiet, washes well, robust, quick to open the door at the end of the cycle, good variety of programs. Cons: The product spec on any sellers website nor the product booklet does not say that the majority of cycles are set as Auto - you cannot know how long it will wash until it counts. Time changes in the middle of the cycle which is absolutely annoying. The good thing is the max time on full load on certain programs is max 2 hours (eg Mix 40 or cotton 60). But some are 3 hours (eg. synthetic or cotton 40). Although there is an option to reduce time, it does not work - I tried on all programs that I used for full load. Temperature and no. of spins can be adjusted but not on all of the programs. You cannot pause to add an item straight after starting the machine. The process described in the booklet is so complicated that I wouldn't dare. Overall, it's not a bad machine, washes well and is quiet (so far, after 3 weeks of use) - I mean you still hear how it takes water, which is actually louder than the spins, but that does not take much time anyway, so it's absolutely fine. If not those annoying Auto cycles and limited choice of adjustments, I'd give it 5 stars.

Very disappointed with this machine. I bought it to replace an old Haier Machine when I moved. The machine will not spin properly and keeps saying it's unbalanced ! I have had an engineer out 3 times now and he reprogrammed and updated the soft ware on the machine so hopefully that helps. It is by far the worst washing machine I have ever owned. I will not be buying Haier again.

Amazingly quiet, even on a spin. We have an open-plan kitchen, utility, and lounge area and I go to the gym most evenings before dinner so having a quiet washing machine was essential for us. We can sit and have dinner with this on a spin and we don't even notice it despite only being 2 meters away from it. When the cycle finishes you can choose between a beep or a click noise which the machine makes once, so doesn't constantly beep until you turn it off and the machine turns itself off automatically. The drum is lovely and large (a big change from our previous 7kg machine) but the entry is still quite small despite it looking large in the photos and when it arrives. This isn't an issue for us though. The only negative for me is that on the 1 hour wash the highest temperature setting is 40 degrees. I used to do everything on a 1 hour wash but like to wash towels, cloths, and bedding a little higher, so they have to go on a longer cycle. All-in-all we are really happy with the product and it seems great value for money.
