Faulty washer drier was delivered but AO refuse to replace it

I received a faulty washer drier from AO. It leaks water in dry cycle. I contacted AO within 14 days and had their engineer checked the issue. The engineer said I should get a replacement as it was a manufacture fault. It was a brand new but AO refuse to replace the item and send the second engineer, who run thorough investigation, and tried fix it but made it even worth. Now it leaks in wash cycle, too.
I reported the fault on the 7th day of delivery, and this is 16th day of delivery but the situation is worse than when I reported as I'm unable to use it in wash cycle, too. This is because the engineer tried to fix the issue. This is not fair as I had to take leave from work for two day for the engineer appointments.
The fault was found in the water valve, it was not fitted properly and also a slit in the part so that water come out from there in the washing/drying cycle.
AO customer service Luke promised 'compensation' when booking the second engineer as I was not happy, but he refused to tell me what kind of compensation I'm entitled. It doesn't sound promising at all.
Very disappointed by AO customer service.
