easy to install, if you turn it to maximum, it works loudly

I wanted to replace the old gas hob that came with the house. I grew up with an electric hob/cooker and that always seemed the safer option for me. The hob itself is modern and stylish and easy to use. Not too noisy and easy to wipe down. On the plus side it has not made too much of a difference to my electricity bill. It does beep when you lift a pan off the hob as when removing excess fat/oil before adding stock, which was a little unnerving the first time. The only negative seems to be that it has on occasion switched itself off. Not sure why as I had a new electricity cable and cooker point installed to specification. The only other thing I can think of is the extractor fan light sometimes comes on although I have retained my old extractor which is not WIFI linked. However, I just leave it 10 seconds and turn it back on and it completes the cooking no problem.

Service, including delivery and communications, was excellent. The hob itself is excellent with a great layout and a superb performance. I had a standard electric hob before which had the usual slow response to heat change requests. This hob however responds as well as any gas hob. Fitting of the hob was easy as it is a completely sealed unit and just needed the electricity supply to be connected. The latter task needs someone with a good knowledge of electricity including power consumption and cable sizes.

I purchased this induction hob recently to replace an electric one that was malfunctioning. Finding new appliances can be a little overwhelming, as there is so much choice now, however the information provided on AO.com was clear and understand, which made the process so much simpler. I chose this one because I sensed it was a good brand and model, and would last me well. I am very happy with my choice- there are plenty of features, it looks sleek and modern in my kitchen, and the technology is amazing.. it starts to heat up food within seconds, plus the pause button is very useful. Now I just need to buy more pans :-)

Great hob. Easy to use and clean. Heats up so much quicker than our old ceramic. Temperature controls are much more responsive.

Haven’t had it fitted yet so +ant company on the hob, but the service from so is certainly worth 5 stars

Fabulous new hob. Very simple to use. It is very easy to wipe clean. The fast heat up is useful to start the cooking off. There is even a timer.
