AEG IKB64401FB review and happy I bought it
5/5
I moved to an induction hob from standard ceramic, apprehensive to begin with but very happy I did. I looked at the specs of all hobs and although most offered more or less the same I chose the AEG as I had good results from a previous AEG product. The hob works very well, extremely quick to boil water on the P setting for those frozen vegetables and they always come out perfect and setting the timer is great option even beeps to let you know when the time is up and switches the hob off. There are 14 different heat settings on each hob, so plenty to choose from. Everything cooks really nicely and the hob looks lovely. All the touchscreen buttons on the hob work with great accuracy and sensitivity. I wipe it down with a good quality glass cleaner and microfiber after each use and it still looks unused. I can't think of anything currently that I don't like about it, I've been using it for the last few weeks and find myself in the kitchen more then ever using it, and their can't be much better praise then that. It feels of good quality and the layout of touchscreen buttons is user friendly and not over done or complicated. Be mindful of the bevel edge around the perimeter of the hob, it looks fantastic but I'm sure it could be easily damaged. Overall a nice product and extremely happy with it.
