First one broke, but very happy with the product

Very happy with the hob. 4 stars as our first model broke after 18 months so had to get a new one. Manufacturer did reimburse us for the replacement but did have to push for that.

It's great, although the sensitivity to wet surface on the hob is quite high.

I turns off if you get water on the control area, otherwise very good

Mostly good but some unexpected drawbacks.

    4/5
Sleek design and I love that it has 5 large spaces so I can actually fit 5 pans on it at once (unlike many hobs). However, many of my pans appear to be actually too small to work properly on the burners and the setting I ask for resets itself, which is unexpected, but perhaps I just need to get used to it a little more. You also can't use all of the burners on a high setting at the same time, which I didn't expect considering it has been wired in. It will take some getting used to but I think it will be fine for my purposes once I have learned the best way to work with it.

    Powerful hob

I am still getting used to the functions of this hob, but love the space and power of the zones. The only issue I have at the moment is the ease of which it turns itself off (and the hood) when clearing away splashes from the control area. Maybe place the splashing (water or fat) pans at the back of the hob to avoid this issue? It''s a bit annoying to have to "re-boot" the hob when this happens.Maybe more practice is required. Overall I love the design and power of this appliance.

    Exceeded our expectations

This was a replacement for an older AEG hob which got broken. We were delighted with it as it has been upgraded. Easier to use and the slide functions is much better for controlling the heat. It also has a 'pause' function allowing all the hobs to run oi the lowest setting This one also has timers for each hob and a bridge function allowing you to connect two side hobs to act as one. All in all it has exceeded our expectations.
