Reasonable value electric induction range
4/5
This 90cm electric range cooker with 5 induction zones on the hob is reasonably good value. For us, it replaced a similar electric oven/gas hob 90cm range cooker by Stoves. After a week we're still getting used to the electric hob but no big problems.
The hob control is fiddly. There's only one control for all 5 zones. When you're using more than two at a time, it can get a bit frustrating. Also, the 'digital' 1 through 10 heat settings mean we no longer have the instant, continuous control that a gas hob gives you. The zone 'heat' is either on or off. It's just 'mark/space' pulsed in order to achieve the 1-10 range. But it's SO easy to clean in comparison.
The 'main' lower left oven takes well over 15 minutes to heat up to 200C. Cooking cakes doesn't seem to be as even as with previous Stoves oven.
But it's OK, especially for the price.
