    Disappointingly Small

    1/5
Before you buy this fridge, I would recommend looking into the size you need. We didn't realise, but the difference in size between this and the previous Bosch Fridge Freezer we had (with similar dimensions) is extreme. We're a two adult household and struggle to fit our weekly shop in this. Incredibly disappointed, but cannot return as we had to use it straight away. So we're just going to have to learn to live with it until we can afford to replace it. Would not buy again or recommend for a two person household.

    Bosch not so hot fridge

A good working fridge, but it doesn’t come with enough shelves and it looks ugly on the sides. If you’re looking for a free standing fridge to sit in your kitchen when the sides will be exposed worth thinking about that. It’s like a fake metal look and it feels tacky. Fridge works very well despite the aesthetic issues.

Not enough shelves or door shelves. Seems cheap quality.

    Poor interior

Disappointed with interior space, same measurements as our old one but fewer shelves, drawers, no bottle holder or 'lid' on the dairy tray.

Fridge looks good but not well made. Will do for now

Would I buy this item again? I don't think I would, (it was bought based on customers review and old fridge died after over 22 years of service). Why, because I like to go into a shop to see what I'm paying for, however due to our current situation I had no choice. I don't have much faith in the item and have started saving to buy another one sometime in the future (hopefully not online). Caps on screws are not fitted properly, freezer door has a hook to keep it shut, fridge door is not secure and alarm does not sound when it's not properly closed. This is my review and others will have their own.

Almost constant noise- beware open plan livers...

    3/5
Really good design and quality bar the almost constant noises it emits. We get maybe five minutes of silent operation in the hour, which makes this product pretty irritating in our open plan flat. Just getting milk out can start a 2+ hour medley of noises. Engineer who visited surprisingly confirmed these almost constant noises are normal, despite me following the manual installation instructions to the letter, and the downside of efficient frost free freezers. It seems noisy operation complaints, 9 times out of 10 are from people with kitchen-lounges, and often with suspended wooden floors Am purchasing an anti-vibration/ noise deadening matt for it to stand on, to see if that will help address matters. There may quieter frost free options out there. I can't imagine there are more constantly noisy ones. Bar that, can't fault it...

    Bought in a hurry

My previous fridge freezer was bosch and it worked well for 20 yrs. And then the fridge broke. So i went online and looked for something similar. I hadnt appreciated how good my old fridge freezer was until this arrived. There isnt anything wrong with it as such. It just lacks a few handy features my old model had. I think my old one was probably dearer but i would have paid the extra had i been able to find exactly what i wanted. So - main thing i will really miss: my old fridge freezer had an integral temp display on the outside and i could select an exact temp for the fridge as well as the freezer. A button press let me know what temp each was. On this model the fridge only has a dial from cold to very cold. It is guess work. My old one, i could set my fridge anywhere from 0-5 degrees and my freezer -16 to -26 and those temps displayed for me. You can pick from pre set freezer temps on this that are displayed on the frame inside the fridge (this is shown in pics of this model) My old model had an on/off button on the appliance. This one you need to pull the plug to turn off. Old model had anti bac. This doesnt. Old model had really nice thick glass shelves. I think these are glass but they are thin and feel plastic. No egg box with this. No butter holder. I will really miss that and wish i had saved that as it might have fitted this. Top drawer of freezer is 'easy access' That is just a drawer with no drawer front! Overall it just feels plasticky and cheap compared to my old model and i wish i hadnt bought in haste but it was an emergency buy. It is working and i havent had it long enough to like it yet. If your current fridge freezer has lots of little extras you like though, think carefully as this model is a no frills basic one.
