Pros: A very sleek design from SMEG giving it the old retro look. I bought the SMEG Chrome and white version that really stands out in my current kitchen. Functions include the soft touch lid opener that lifts the lid smoothly and the adjustable chord winder on the base allowing you to use only the chord required keeping the worktops tidy. The kettle itself comes to a boil fairly quick under a mini for 4 cups of water. It's not as noisy as some of the other kettles I've had so thats another plus. It's well insulated and keeps the water hot for a fair while. CONS: The water gauge is hidden by the sleek handle which means you have to tilt you head. The kettle it'self is a little on the heavy side . Maybe some finger grips on the inside of the handle could improve the egornomics of the product. Otherwise a very well-made ,value for money product ??

Absolutely gorgeous. Definitely adds the wow factor to my kitchen. Pondered for ages about buying it. So glad I did. Wish they did the tea, coffee and sugar canisters to match. Also purchased the matching toaster. Looks awesome.

Beautiful kettle that boils in minutes!

Looks great. Very quiet in operation. Only issue is it’s hard to see the water level as the level window is behind the handle. Can’t estimate contents by weight either, as it’s really solid and weighs more than lesser kettles. Overall, recommended.

I love my new kettle. My tea tastes the same, smells the same but it is a pleasure to make it. Beauty and function; well worth the price!
