    Smart appliances for new kitchen

    4/5
Very smart and well packaged. Expensive items but a new kitchen deserves new, matching items. Spend most of my time admiring them rather than using them.

Stylish but could it be better?

Retro kettle that fits the bill style wise. It really gets top marks for how it looks my only concern is the famous metal SMEG letters are fragile. On taking the product out the box an E had fell off. When i looked they are latching on with a very small amount of adhesive. Luckily I had super glue and got it back on with no issue and my partner couldn’t tell which had to be stuck on. So overall it works great and boils well to make lovely hot drinks but i think for what you pay the materials could be a little more hardy.

Lovely retro kettle will definitely take pride of place in my kitchen. I have wanted one for years but the hefty price tag was my only dislike but due to what’s going in the world right now I decided to treat myself

    Lid

Just purchased the Smeg kettle and although I am delighted Hayes with it. Iam finding th lid doesn’t open on the first press of the button. It takes at least two or three times

    Gorgeous!!

I was a little dubious about the cost of this as it's more than I would normally pay for a kettle but it does look gorgeous and has a very smooth operation and quality feel. I have only given 4 stars as it is quite heavy, even when empty, so wouldn't be suitable for everyone. Looks great with the matching toaster though.

    Stylish Kettle

Looks great in the kitchen, very stylish. The push button lid is a bit hit & miss & doesn’t always open first time. The water measure is quite tricky to see. On the whole, very nice.

Kettle performs very well, and is certainly well built. It is however quite noisy when boiling! Will require regular descaling in hard water areas, but then what kettle doesn't!
