Good lids a bit stiff. Had this and re bought as it was old and had limesscale. Nice size kettle and looks good. Matching 4 toaster with sandwich grill bits is good too.

Brilliant especially if you have solar batteries. Lower wattage mean you do not draw on the national grid as you tend to with the 3kw kettles. Hardly noticeable that it takes slightly longer to boil. Of course it does that’s just “science “ looks so stylish too. Dear me you would think I worked for SMEG!!!

Wasn’t sure about it when it arrived but it’s an amazing little kettle. Im delighted with its performance and looks. Boils enough water for 3 generous mugs and is quiet. Bit disappointed there’s no filter.
