Brilliant especially if you have solar batteries. Lower wattage mean you do not draw on the national grid as you tend to with the 3kw kettles. Hardly noticeable that it takes slightly longer to boil. Of course it does that’s just “science “ looks so stylish too. Dear me you would think I worked for SMEG!!!

Lovely little kettle. Yes it's small but makes 3 mugs or fills a hot water bottle. Maybe not ideal if a large family but for 1 or 2 people it's ideal. Very quiet to boil which is great, although as lower wattage, does take a little longer than my old one to get to boiling point. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Most excellent and very good and is a massive help with electric saving and only boils the correct amounts of water needed. And then delivery made by AO.com which is well handy for me to he customer no need to go to the shop as I’m disabled and of course this is a much easier way to shop thank AO

My new Smeg Mini Kettle is perfect for quickly boiling a smaller quantity of water for my single cup of tea or coffee. It's also quick with tea for two. Because of the smaller volume & boiling time it must be better for the environment & that's good for me.

I think it's cute. Much smaller than I anticipated and basic in terms of the way you fill it. Very pretty, not good for large numbers of tea or to fill up a big pasta bowl with hot water. Ideal if you are making tea for two or three people.
