Very easy to set up and simple to use. Great detergent drawer and ensures only amounts needed are used - obviously used far too much in previous machine. Very quiet, large drum - superb quality.

The washing machine works well however the drum is much smaller than expected (considering my previous one was also AEG and was a 10kg). I think it is also bit louder. The biggest “fail” for me it that my previous washer allowed 56 minute cycle after Time save and this one has the shortest at hour and half… so not the best from energy usage perspective.

So far, my experience with the AEG L7FEC946U washing machine couldn’t be more positive. Due to the sharp rise in electricity PRICES, I chose this machine as it has an ‘A’ energy efficiency rating. My go-to program is the ‘ECO 40-60’, this machine intelligently measures the amount of clothes inside the drum and adjusts the washing time, electricity and water usage accordingly, saving time and money. The program takes around 3 hours to finish with a full 9kg load with perfect results. When we cannot wait this long for a wash, I use my second favourite program, the ‘MYMIX 69MIN’. It uses the same clever sensors to ensure energy efficiency and finishes up to a 5kg load in just 69 minutes at 30°C. I highly recommend this washing machine.

Not only is it beautiful by design, it's amazingly feature full. I bought this because my child is starting school and I can't be asked to iron her clothes. I also use pods mostly and hate having to clear out the gunk that builds up in the filter. Fortunately, this awashing machine fixes both of these issues, and more! It's also far more energy effecient and faster than my previous washer. I love the pod pre-soak, which wets the pod to disolve better before dropping it into the washing machine. I find there's less gunk (none actually) with this machine. It's also more convenient than having to put pods in the drum, under clothing. Usually when you do this, you put one in for a normal load, 2 in for heavily soiled or large load. I have a kid, so a normal load often becomes a large load or heavily soiled AFTER I start loading. I can just throw an extra pod in the pod slot. The steam setting has great for making my child's uniforms perfect without having to spend time ironing after. They come out crease free every time and I just hang them to dry. The spin cycle is quieter than previous washing machinesas well. This could have something to do with the prosense weighing to know what speed it actually needs to spin at. The instructions are clear and easy to follow for both installation and use. The design is sleek and attractive. Absolutely delighted at the washing machine.

I love my new washing machine. So easy to install literally took 20 mins and off we go. I took a bit if time to read the manual but wow its easy peasy. Absolutely love the shorten time button. Great if you suddenly need to pop out. It was so quiet. The utility room is next to bedroom but we could set time for when we got up and it didn't wake us at all. I first thought it had not come on as my old machine would always wake me . I got up fully thinking i had to do it but hey, clean beautiful crease free washing. Smells divine and even feels softer. The universal dose drawer is amazing, so easy to use and the first machine i know off to include a special pods section, Well done AEG what a beauty ! I love the steam setting as i have shirts to iron and boy they came out hardly needing to even see a iron. so much thought and innovation has gone into this machine, not only does it look great but boy it works. Replacement for old AEG and this is a great machine. Only minor thing is even with time saving function the washes seem to take a long time. Still a good buy though.
