I purchased this washing machine as I was well overdue an upgrade, I decided to go for a bigger drum so I can wash all the bedding at once. This washing machine is the best I have ever owned, it is a sleek design, with digital display which I found really easy to use, I have already tried many of the different programmes and I like that you can wash on a 30. Using the extra spin my washing comes out almost dry which means in winter I won’t have an issue drying my clothes. The prosteam option is also amazing, I thought prehaps this could be a gimmic but it it not it really does work and means I have to iron less which is another plus! The pull out compartment for the detergent is also really easy to clean. This is my first AEG appliance I have owned and I would definitely purchase from AEG again.

AEG LFR73964B Washing Machine In white. I really like this AEG washing machine. The reason I opted for this one is due to the pro-steam feature and the large 9kg drum capacity . This machine i paid extra to have it installed so i can quickly use it same day. So i have used this machine for a few washes and I’m really enjoying it. The pro-steam feature actually works . I now get through my ironing in less than half the time. I like the LCD screen on the washing machine. Its simple and easy to use. The drum capacity is 9kg and really good for bulk washing or for large throws & duvets. This machine has an anti allergy wash too as well as all the other options other machines have. This AEG 7000 pro steam is the best machine i have owned or used. Everything about it is good. I can’t believe i have never tried an AEG appliance before. I will definitely be trying this brand out again. I would highly recommend it.

This was replacing a 21 year old AEG Lavamat. So far excellent. Clear instructions, effective washing. Programmes seem quite long but lower temperatures

Very happy with the new machine. It replaces a previous AEG machine that provided many years of service. The new one is quieter, more efficient and has a more flexible set of programmes.

A great washing machine with lots of useful features. I use the steam hygienic cycle to clean bedding and towels, and the cottons and synthetics cycles for other clothing. The machine has good capacity and the spin is high speed without being too noisy. I also like the ability to set the finish time so I can run my washing during the cheap electricity rate. The build quality feels good and I feel it is a good price for what you get.

I have a large family and have tried almost all brands of washing machines now. I bought this one because of the sale and discount I received. I feel that my review ratings would have been much lower had I paid the highest original price. Good pointsNice big drum with lots of water jets for efficient cleaning. Quite often I have to press the on/off button 3 times for it to work. The start button is the same too so just to start a cycle is really frustrating. The programmes are quite long. I think the eco one should be 3 hours but the regular cotton cycle should be much less, perhaps 1.5 hours. As a large family, I need to do more than 2 loads in a day on a weekend. I’m struggling to stay on top of the families washing.

Very quiet, easy to operate. Particular benefits are the large size drum, a top spin speed of 1600rpm and a 30° eco friendly wash. We are very pleased with it so far, and although not the cheapest, it is without doubt the best washing machine that we have ever had.
