I wouldn’t have considered this machine normally and have settled for a much cheaper alternative. However after deciding to give it ago, I found myself eagerly awaiting it and I was not disappointed. It looks so swish - the light on the drum makes it so much easier to see what you are doing, especially as my kitchen isn’t blessed with the best lighting. My washers have a tough life with 4 kids, adding in that football, rugby and horse riding! Previously found myself needing to rewash items either because they didn’t smell right or because they were still dirty. Impacted on this was the increase in washing detergents and softeners needed for these additional washes. Cant say how pleased I am that all my washing has come out clean and smelling nice first time with my aeg beast. Also found clothes are less creased, the mix I think of massive drum and the technology aeg have used in its design. I haven’t fully got to grips with all the controls as yet, there’s certainly plenty of choice and options. The 45 min cycle I really like - its ideal to rinse through school clothes ready for next day. The buttons are a tad too sensitive to touch, its location in the kitchen means I have annoying caught it several times. All in all - it’s a super piece of kit, I’m very happy with it.

I’ve had my AEG washing machine for a week now and so far I am thoroughly impressed with it. The machine itself has a slick modern appearance and is easy to use with a clear display to understand progress. Opening the door, I was surprised to see the entire drum become illuminated which will help shine a light on any socks trying to hide. The AbsoluteWash programme has been great for typical household loads allowing me to do a wash in under an hour with perfect results. For larger or dirtier loads, I can choose from the many programmes available and get great results every time. The machine is really quiet and I barely notice it running in our utility room. The companion mobile app is a nice addition, I find it useful getting a notification when the machine has finished to remind me to unload the clothes. A nice feature of it is that I can delay the finish to help prevent creases. Overall I am really pleased with the AEG washing machine and it is a great replacement for our busy household. I was concerned an 8kg would be too small but it has handled everything we’ve loaded it up with so far.

After unpacking and an easy install, I couldn’t wait to try this out. After setting it up and putting on the install cycle I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. I had to check on it a couple of times as I thought it had finished. I was amazed when it came to the spin. Gone was the “take off mode” usually experienced with washing machines. As soon as it had finished the first cycle, I did a full load. The 8kg drum seemed to hold so much more than before. My usual load didn’t fill the drum so had to top it up. Once finished, my clothes have not smelt that clean for a long time. Living in a hard water area, the salt helped to soften both the water and the clothes. This is something that wasn’t part of my washing routine previously. Even on a cool or a quick wash, the clothes come out smelling clean and fresh. The only issue I have found with it is the play pause touch button. It’s very easy to touch it or brush past it and accidentally pause the cycle. Even when under a worktop, it’s easy to pause. It’s something I am getting used to and aware to give it a wide berth. The add to load function is handy when the cycle has been started but bits have been missed or dropped on the way. There are so many new features to explore and experiment with that this can cover off all my needs. Being able to set it to wash overnight with the night mode is great for saving money by using the cheaper electricity. If you think it’s normally quiet, wait till you put it on overnight. Being able to put the washing on using my phone is handy. It cost much more than I would normally pay for a washing machine but that seems to be a false economy. Cheaper is not always better. The extra cost is so worth it. Being able to put it on overnight as it’s so much quieter will save money and help pay for itself. I am so pleased with this purchase.

Great washing machine, very silent you barerly know it’s there. A lot of programs to choose from, lovely quality of washing. There is salt compartment which is great for hard water! I’m very pleased with it

AO are really good. Get all my appliances from here. You can track the machine so dont have to wait in all day and communication us great. I am really pleased with this washing machine. My other one was so old so was surprised by the technology on this one. Firstly on the app I can set it when to start. I have cheaper electricity overnight so it's great for that but also really energy efficient and the eco wash also saves money. My partner and I do a lot of trail running so the outdoor setting is great for getting the mud out of our running gear! Also my clothes seem to be less creased when they come out. It also has a light which I have never seen on a washing machine before. The 5 year warranty also gives me piece of mind. Its my first time buying an AEG washing machine but would buy one again!

The machine is really efficient and has significantly reduced my laundry time. It has various different programs and display how long each going to take. I used wool program and the effect was incredible! It's also very quiet you can hardly hear it working. The variety of settings allows me to customize each load based on my needs, you can reduce the time of the washing cycle too with one click of the button. The drum is large but the machine is very sustainable and its weight each load to adjust water intake. I’m impressed with quality of the washing and steam program it’s great for kids plush toys and to avoid creased fabrics. The washing machine itself had very modern look and it’s easy to wipe clean. The AEG app it’s intuitive and really cool! Overall, I highly recommend AEG washing machine to anyone!

9000 ABSOLUTECARE® 8KG WASHING MACHINE (LFR94846WS) 1F Quality Machine This is review of the AEG 9000. 8KG I would firstly like to say how fantastic the machine looks and feels really good quality. I did a lot of research and the AEG ticked all the boxes for me. One of the main reasons for buying the 9000 series is the softwater technology, as i was using a water softener tablet in my old machine as we live in a hard water area. The machine also is A rated so great way to save money. The softwater technology softens the water using a special ion exchange filter inside the machine making your clothes soft, and prevents fading of colours. The machine uses a small amount of dish washer salt in the draw to regenerate the ion filter. This also allows the detergent to work more effectively giving great stain removal. I have noticed that the laundry doesn't crease anywhere near as much, cutting down on the ironing now that is a massive bonus. The machine is very easy to use with all the main programmes laid out on the front panel. There is no need for machines to be complicated and AEG definitely isn't. The machine is very quiet when in use and it does a fantastic wash & rinse. The spin speed is 1400 and the washing comes out just damp, so that has cut down on my drying times saving money. For the tech savvy people there is an AEG app to enhance operation further giving you extra programmes and functions. If like me your unsure what programme to use the app will guide you as to which programme to select. I found the absolute 49 min wash brilliant for everyday items, and the clothes come out really clean and nearly dry. I have also tried the cottons programme and the steam function. The steam function is really useful for say a shirt that's only been worn once, select the steam function pop in the drum 20 mins later its refreshed no need to wash. You can also press the plus steam button and this will add steam at the end of the wash cycle. This makes the clothes extra soft and ironing easier. A big influence for choosing AEG is the fact my parents also have an AEG machine that is 7 years old and has been brilliant.
