This has been such a welcome addition to our appliance inventory. The app feature makes it super futuristic and I love being able to control the settings, remotely start the machine and get notifications to my phone when the wash is done. It’s so handy! There are also cool features such as the steam feature that stops clothes getting as creased. The light comes on when the door is open and my clothes have been noticeably less creased and softer due to the ability to add salt to the machine to soften water. The only issue I see so far is that the detergent drawer is a bit stiff and needs a big pull to open. There is also only 2 compartments so either liquid fabric softener and detergent but then no space for power stain remover. Not a huge issue for us but might be for some people. Lots of the drawer space is taken up with the salt. Overall, so far loving it!

This machine is an absolute game changer in our household! As a busy mum of two teenage boys who are very active in numerous sports teams, owner of two dogs who like nothing better than finding every muddy puddle going in the local fields (wash the towels in the machine, not the dogs) and a partner who has a job which requires constant washing of his uniform, I feel I am well placed to provide an honest review of my experience with the machine, so here goes…… The machine is very easy to use, has several great features, the best of which living in a very hard water area must be the water softener. This has made a noticeable difference to how softer the clothes feel after the wash. Another notable feature that I make great use of is the ‘AbsolouteWash49’ program. This program is ideal for the quick turnaround of sports kits, with no compromise made on the cleanliness. The steam function is very good when washing white school shirts, they come out sparkling and are very easy to iron. I should also mention that the machine is lovely and quiet, even on the spin cycle. Not only does the machine preform amazingly well, but it also looks good, a shame mine is hidden away behind a built in cupboard. I would love to give a negative point in this review to provide balance, but in all honesty, there just isn’t one! This machine excels in all areas and I can’t recommend it highly enough, another great product from AEG.

I absolutely love this washing machine! The internal capacity is huge! It reduced in half the number of loads needed to wash my weekly laundry! You even have a light inside of it. My favourite program is the short 49 mins cycle. The highest spin is 1400. The display screen is very useful, comes with various programs, you can see how many minutes are left till the load is finished, the spins, the temperature, etc. You are also notified when it finished, by a beeping sound. The washing time adjusts to the quantity of your load. You can set it up and even start it with your phone via wifi. The app has many usefull features. The soft water option is a great idea if you have hard water. The steam function is great. In 25 mins you have cigarette smell free clothes and reduced wrinkles. All the programs clean very well, it is very efficient with energy, water and time, so very environmentally friendly and helps a lot to save on utility bills. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

Does what it says! Very smart washing machine. Not only does it look modern and stylish in white and black colours, but it’s also very well programmed. I am impressed with the short wash cycle. Using time saving option I reduced my cotton load wash to only 55 min (doubble checked on time saver) and clothes were clean as would be if washed on normal cycle for 2h 27min on my old machine. I noticed that the washing times do adjust if the load is less than max to the particular program. I also like auto switch off feature that switches off the washing machine after about 5 min after washing is completed or when not in use. This has a potential of saving energy. I noticed that the amount of water it consumes during washing is minimal compare to my old washing machine. Another nice feature is the wifi connection through the app. I can choose my favourite loads - it also advises and helps to choose the program depending on what I am washing. As a busy mum of 5 with lots of different clothes to wash, I find the mixed load program very beneficial. It washed quickly and effectively in 49min. Ansolutewash program is my most used. 20 min 3 kg cycle is a time saver especially when kids what to refresh/wash small load of their own cloths seperately. Noice is also minimal too - much quieter than my previous washing machines. For the best results and to maximise the benefits, I would advise to read instructions before using

WOW never had a AEG washing machine before and wish I had brought one sooner, its the quietest washing machine ever. I had always had the same well known make of washing machine and would sound like a aeroplane taking off. I do washing every day with having 2 kids that do activities like football, swimming & gymnastics. This has Softwater Technology which is good as we live in a hard water area and it comes with a test strip to check the water and change settings accordingly which I've never had before with a washing machine. It has a setting called AbsoluteWash 49 min is a powerful programme that thoroughly cleans clothes at 30°C and in under 1-hour, using 30% less energy. Another feature is Steam Refresh which reduces wrinkles on clothes including delicates, in just 25 minutes and gives it that just washed freshness, and handy to use for items only worn a few hours and need freshening up to wear again in a short space of time. I have downloaded the AEG app to my smart phone as there are a lot more features on the app than what you see on the machine & it can personalise settings, give smart tips and suggestions it can customise laundry cycles and send instructions to your appliance to adapt it to your needs and habits, can use it while out if you forget to put the washing on, it even tells you when almost done asks if you want to add anti crease cycle before it ends. Features I Love about this washing machine is that there is a light that goes on when you open the door which is handy when you are washing late, when the water is flowing it looks like a waterfall, its very quiet and its A rated & the washing comes out dryer than others so doesn't take long to get dry on a airer. It comes with anti vibrate strips that stick on the bottom of the machine which I've never had before. I haven't tried all the settings yet but have used the app, absolutewash49, cotton, wool wash and eco wash. It has a ProSense technology that adapts the cycle to the load, so you don’t need to mess about finding the right settings. My favourite cycles so far are the Absolutewash 49 as doesn't take long & the cotton wash as you can use the time saver feature and half the wash time. It looks great in my kitchen and highly recommend to anyone thinking of buying a washing machine soon. Best washing machine I've ever had so far.

The steam function also impressed me by effectively reducing wrinkles, thus minimizing the need for ironing. In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this washing machine due to its quiet operation, efficient performance, and array of features. Despite its higher cost, the savings in electricity and time justify the investment, making it a worthwhile addition to any household. With its sleek design and modern functionalities, it certainly earns a well-deserved 5-star rating from me

Have had this washing machine for over a week now and can honestly say I wish I had purchased it earlier. The machine is feature-rich without being too daunting. The AEG app makes selecting the perfect wash a breeze. The app has a really good feature called program assistance. I used this for my first wash. As I was washing bed linen, I selected the option and within four steps, the machine was set. The machine is noticeably quieter than my previous model. What really stood out, though, was the amount of bubbles in the drum. I can only put this down to the water softening function with the salt. For me, it's definitely a game-changer living in such a hard water area. Another cool feature is ProSense. This automatically adjusts the time of the cycle depending on the weight of the load. The setting we have used most so far is the Absolute Wash 49min. Work and school clothes come out fresh and clean while being washed at only 30 degrees. One thing I would point out is that the AEG care app has been replaced and is now just the AEG app in app store
