This replaced the same product. Its easy to use as both a convection oven and microwave. The convection oven has a timer that helps avoid over cooking due to forgetting it is on! My third combi and I wouldn't be without it. In a smallish kitchen and cooking for one, it's brilliant. There is a "quick 30 seconds" button, a timer that goes up in 10 second intervals, an odour eliminator button and it is possible to stop the turntable should you wish to (usually because the pan is too big to rotate). It is easy to clean with a damp cloth. Highly recommend this model.

Sturdy, good quality oven. Very impressed with the convection oven, cakes came out better than in the gas oven. Will save on energy bills too.

Its ok, but as my wife is on special food I find it has cold spots in the food, run time longer and it ruins the food, ie put in microwave for 6 minutes stand 2 minutes found cold spots, even added 30 seconds, middle cold or just warm. Cooks a chicken ok. Inside with it being black not great stainless steel is better brighter, easy viewing through glass door. Lots of faffing about with menu manual, control panel is ok easy to see and use. Bought too quick after old microwave broke down wanted a quick replacement, will be replacing it.

As a chef I have been using microwave ovens both commercial and at home for more than 50 years and this Samsung model is the best for a small to medium household I have ever used. Each feature works well and produces perfectly cooked products. I am not easily impressed but this appliance is worth very penny.

Having, for many years, been loyally committed to expensive high end Microwave ovens, we became disillusioned with performance and longevity, for such high priced items. So, now we looked at the Samsung MW5000H. It seemed to be fairly close in specification and functionality, but at much less than half the price. We have now had the opportunity to use it for a while and found it every bit as good as the expensive, short lived products we had before. Experience has shown us that the side opening door is preferable to drop down. The interior is well lit to be able to observe what is cooking. We like the option to turn off the turntable and the easy clean interior. The only issue we have is that we find the push button layout overly complicated, not well laid out and hard to read, with no backlight, having said that, it is full of functionality and is an attractive model with a good finish. We would certainly recommend this model, especially at the surprisingly low price.

Happy with product looks good only reason not given 5 is the instructions are very basic to use cooker have bought recipe book to get a better idea

Really pleased with this product, does exactly as I hoped it would. I have used it as a microwave and convection at present with great results. My only minor criticism is that on the power defrost, even on a 14 minute program, it stops after only 2 minutes or so for you to turn the food and then Carrie's on for the rest of the cycle. I find myself checking again after about 10 mins and turning yet again. Otherwise perfect.

Nice and simple to use and great cooking features also a good size to heat big plates in.
