Poor: Had an iphone and apple mac issues with both connections. Not reliable sound, buggy experience. Should have done it with Bluetooth. Looking for return shortly.

Not loud enough but a nice design

Oh dear, what a nightmare this product is. Granted, it’s my fault that I didn’t check it was mains only, but that’s a minor issue compared to how clunky the actual product is. Trying to just get it connected on Wi-Fi was frustrating. You literally have to be next to the hub for it to recognise the connection. Once set up, I moved it to another room and it couldn’t pick up the signal even though my iPhone was full strength with the router. I did hook it up briefly to Spotify via Airplay and the sound is pretty lame. I appreciate it’s a speaker under £100, but save your cash and put it towards something decent with a battery and Bluetooth. Learn from a sucker like me!

Fantastic sound for the size. I am deep in the apple ecosystem as i do no like my data to be sold to advertisers.

I have been an Apple user since the early 1990s and even if not everything they do is perfect, I am very happy with the HomePod mini. It serves as my first HomeKit hub, which I am using in my garden office to control a Logitech Circle View, an Eve Degree and a Netatmo smoke alarm. Even Siri works really well nowadays! The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a small speaker. There was one glitch as the setup kept crashing at the final step, but restarting my iPhone fixed this. All in all highly recommended.

Having a HomePod has drawn together a lot of our smart home products which is great. The sound is excellent quality so I’m glad I waited for the mini and I can’t wait to get a second one once they are back in stock ??

Which it was wireless that's my only issue but I love the sound that comes from it.
