    Right MacBook, wrong colour

    3/5
MacBook itself is great, the colour less so. I bought this colour as I hadn’t had it before but I regret it. Fingerprints and smears show up so much worse than on any other colour I’ve had and cleaning it is almost impossible. Would recommend the MacBook, just not the colour.

    Mac Air 2022

It’s a swift, sleek and smart laptop. I personally would’ve preferred it in black though.

    Perfect for general computing needs

    4/5
Product is the quality you can expect from Apple. Very nice to have the laptop fabless for no noise, I am a little user so do not have to worry about performance throttling to keep the heat down. Finger prints are definitely a challenge on the midnight finish but manageable with a micro fibre cloth

    Great Mac

    4/5
Great laptop. It's a MacBook so the build quality is impeccable. Really like the new design. Is really thin and light the Midnight colour is really stunning, but it's a fingerprint magnet. I heard this being said but it's true. That's why I'm giving a 4* rating. Otherwise it's perfect for daily usage. If you need something for design or editing get the bigger HD and 16GB unified memory. You won't regret purchasing this Mac.

    Macbook Air

The only issue is that a bit slower than an M1 Air because of the storage but overall it’s a MacBook which runs fine

    My first MacBook

    4/5
This is my first Mac but not my first Apple product. I did my research and decided that the Air was the right model for me as I don't do a lot of video editing, so didn't need the Pro model and the new M2 chip looked more capable of dealing anything I could throw at it. The M2 Mac Air looks stunning and feels nearly as light as my iPad Pro with the keyboard, the keyboard on the Air is fantastic and the typing feels much better than my work surface pro 3 laptop. Being Apple everything just connected and synced perfectly which was one of the reasons for getting a Mac, The battery life is exactly as stated, great, The boot up speed is super quick and the screen is very clear, I've only used it inside so don't have to turn the brightness up past half way. Being fan less it is silent and I haven't felt it getting warm at all but I haven't really pushed it but compared to my surface pro 3 where the fan cuts in quite often whilst doing similar tasks I'm really impressed. But I've had some issues getting used to menu paths etc as I've only ever worked on windows based machines but I did think having used Apple products for years it would be easier but somethings are quite different from Windows, also a lot of the Apps are either iPhone or iPad versions so not compatible with Mac, so apps like Netflix & Disney work through safari and you can make a shortcut on your desktop but no App! Overall though I'm very happy with M2 MacBook Air.

    M2 macbook AIR

    4/5
Probably the best Mac Book Apple have ever produced. Significantly out performs all previous versions. Love the universal control facility. I can throw away keyboards and mice that are now redundant . The midnight colour version is a finger print magnet but i can forgive that. Really nice to see MagSafe back plus two ports as opposed to just 2 usb c ports. Battery life is impressive and easily all day use. There is nothing in competition to match this machine without paying significantly more. However it is £250 more expensive than teh M1 version. I’m not sure that is justified.
