Probably one of the worst microwaves we have ever bought. Then we had significant delays and misinformation from AO that created further stress.

Microwave is good but nothing else is when defrosting it the cook the food convection oven is useless something that take 30 mins to cook is still not cooked after a hour and some times is still frozen on the inside panel is fiddley overall not a good oven will never use a Smeg appliance again say away only had for 6 months had to go back to our usual brand

Good microwave and oven functions but grill feeble. Good build quality but labels hard to read on silver finish.

Looks amazing, but I notice the top outside the metal was very flimsy, not solid and sturdy as one would expect from Smeg. Also when you microwave anything the fan will stay on 30 sec after the countdown has finished, even if you warm something for 30 secs. Another negative is that a lot of steam is produce when you cook anything with high moisture content resulting in tiny puddles inside the microwave. My old Panasonic lasted 22 years, hope this can do the same!

Brought this a year ago, and decided to wait for a while, to see how the product operates. The microwave looks stunning from the outside, def has the wow factor. However inside I was annoyed to find there is a small foil like cover for some vent, which makes cleaning extremely difficult around this foil area, especially if you warm up quick meals. I tried to remove it to take off the stains and the prongs on the cover broke, very fragile material, so had to buy another from meg at £7 I think. Why do smeg have this cheap thing inside their microwave!

I would say that the mciroware oven is amazing! Due to it's simplicity for use, it (almost fully) replaced my oven. I can cook at the Smeg microwave oven in more handy way, and the quality of food that comes out is very good - exceeding my expectation and much better than my old oven. I highly recommend this product! The only issue I experienced is that it is a bit oversized for my current kitchen.. so people with limited space, keep this in mind.

This is certainly a quality product, large, solid, stylish and gives an impression of quality and has FULL function, Microwave, Grill and Convection oven. Not perfect however, fell short of 5 stars because: 1) The door stops abruptly at 90 degrees, so be carefull not to open too enthusiastically or the door hinges could easily be damaged... a wider opening angle of 120 degrees with a damper would have been good for such a high-end item. 2) The door latch uses the same plastic lugs as much cheaper models, again a metal design would go with the overall quality design. 3) The Stop/Cancel button is 3rd down on the right-hand side, not the most intuitive place when you're rushing to cancel it ! Apart from my 'niggles', this is a beautiful and very capable oven.
