The two main reasons for purchasing this were making hummus and kneading bread dough. It fails to make hummus properly as the blender clogs at the bottom rather than working though all the chickpeas. After a lot of manual intervention to redistribute the contents, I acheived a rough paste, but there was not chance of getting a smooth blend. Dough kneading works, but I've found it takes twice as long as by hand (obviously without the physical effort though), and doesn't quite achieve the same elastic quality. Perhaps this is because the standard 500g (of flour) is too small to properly throw the dough around the bowl, but I'm just guessing. Haven't tried anything else with it yet.

We do really like the Bosch MUM59340GB machine that we bought from AO, although we did not appreciate that it did not actually include the food processor element, and that this part is actually quite a pricey accessory. We mistakenly thought that as machine was described as the 'Ultimate Kitchen Machine' on the Bosch website (and on its enclosed leaflets/instructions) that the food processor was included. When we called Bosch to find out what part we actually needed to buy as the food processor accessory, they were rather less than helpful. Otherwise the machine is really very good indeed albeit it is actually quite expensive when adding on the accessory we need.

Great bit of kit, it does rock alot and makes me worry that the arm is about to come away when making dough but so far it hasn't, it sticks to the surface really well so that's good. Only bit I was disappointed with was it didn't come with the built in scales which I thought it did, but my mistake ordering the wrong one. Never mind

Bought it to use, have used it, simply and easily. It does everything I expect and want of a Stand Mixer, nothing else to say.

Good for the price, especially with the accessories. The safety system kicks in often with low saturation doughs so it isn't ideal for large or heavy dough mixes

It's a good product. My wife happy to use it.

Great machine, not to loud, sturdy and so versatile.
