    Big and quiet

    5/5
Looks great, very quiet! Especially love the tinted window door so you can’t see your undies spinning around! Nice big drum. Only problem is a standard spin takes nearly 3 hours! But can tell it’s washed thoroughly.

    Great time saving appliance!

    5/5
Absolutely love this, it's the first time we've have a washer dryer combo and it is saving me so much time and effort. If you put too much in on a dry cycle some thicker items will come out a little damp but 20 minutes on the radiator is enough to dry them. Very pleased with my purchase!

A different way of doing the laundry.

    4/5
I'm still learning my way around this, my first ever washer/dryer. Instructions are quite poor on cheap 'save the planet' paper! Have done around eight washes so far. Washes well, but some washes have been damp at the end of the drying cycle. Not so when using the combined wash & dry cycles rather than wash, remove some items and then dry. If damp, you have to restart the drying cycle. I think it's basically a learning process of how to do your regular laundry washing in a different way, rather than having separate machines. This machine runs rather long wash and drying times, however on checking my smart meter, the costs are not as high per hour as I was expecting. Therefore washing/drying times can look 'frightening' in these high energy costs times, but you may be pleasantly surprised. When drying, there will be an initial 'clicking' sound. At first I thought this was a fault, however on checking the internet I found this is a known subject for Hotpoint washer/dryers, a shame the manufacturers don't point this out in the instructions. I've given 4 stars due to the lack of info from Hotpoint. Apart from this, I'm pleased with my choice.

    The cycles are too long!

The product looks nice, but the cycles are far too long…8 hours to wash and dry one lot of bedding!!!

    Serves its purpose as intended

    5/5
Looks great and very easy to program, It does make a lot of funny noises whilst drying that turned out to be it taking small shots of cold water every couple of minutes to condense the moisture out of the clothes. Takes 4 hours to wash and dry a mixed load but 7-9 to do towels and bedding. I chose this model to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity rates and so serves it purpose well. I did feel the user manual could be more substantial having had to find out what the noises where on a googled forum. I was worried that something was stuck inside but this is apparently normal.
