Long overdue an all round update!
3/5
This model was launched several years ago and it shows. We've had it for a month or so. The control panel isn't soft touch and doesn't have haptic feedback either. The controls invite a firm press which results in the whole microwave sliding on the kitchen top, unless you place it on a grip mat. It doesn't have a handle and has a mirrored finish on the front. Finger/hand marks are inevitable. The menu is not intuitive, with simple actions like reheating a drink needing several button presses. Perhaps most unforgivable is that the unit does not sit level, so rocks as it only has two rubber feet at the front! The pricing is at the higher end for a basic microwave (no grill, steaming, or convection fearires) but doesn't represent good value given all its shortcomings. Which? the consumer magazine raves about it though. In our case it was only recently purchased as a downgrade from a modern Samsung that was superior in almost every way until it developed the dreaded start button fault at approx 18 months old. Other than the above it's an ok microwave.
