Fan of Panasonic - previous microwave lasted 11 years. Delighted with this replacement model. Auto-sensor for fresh vegetables cooks them to perfection; similarly, auto-reheat perfectly heats foods such as casseroles and plated roast beef slices. Lots of other functions which are worth experimenting with - all designed to make life easy and to ensure food is perfectly cooked with no guess work. Many useful tips in accompanying booklet which also has some nice recipes. This silver model looks very smart but does not dominate my kitchen (as I suspect the black model might do). I recommend you check its measurements to ensure it fits in your space with the required 7 cms spare on the side nearest to any wall. I am delighted with this product and use it a lot.

It's a microwave oven! Does what it says very efficiently, probably 'overkill' in that it has complicated features which we are unlikely ever to use. Cooks significantly faster at 1000 W than the previous 900 W model (which may have been losing power towards the end of its life). Only slight niggles - no time step less than 10 seconds, and it tends to trap an unwary finger which strays round the side of the appliance when operating the button to open the door.

I was advised by my mother who has the same model of microwave would highly recommend this microwave.

Really sleak looking, packed with loads of functions. Makes cooking a lot easier for busy families.

This is big upgrade for us - from a small, basic but functional model (the bargain basement type that you might get from a supermarket). We’d had the old one for some years and it was starting to rust inside so it had to be replaced. We were also tired of the limited space which restricted the width and height of containers that could be used with it. And so we decided to go for a larger model and this one is a whopper (or so it seems to us). There was a choice between white, black & stainless steel. Either black or stainless steel would have blended in with our other kitchen appliances, but the white and black models are plastic with touch screen controls whilst the stainless steel has push buttons which we far prefer. It’s an upgrade on power as well as capacity for us - from 800W to 1,000W - and the range of programmes is more than we currently think we’ll ever need. But, not having used programmes before, it might be that we’ll gradually start using them and grow to appreciate their benefit. One programme we have used is for potatoes and it cooked baked potatoes to perfection (far, far better than its predecessor). It comes with a detailed user manual which includes not only user instructions, but also a good variety of illustrative recipes. From our perspective there is nothing not to like about this microwave. A large capacity, multiple functions, smart, robust, well-made ... We’re delighted with this purchase.

A very smart looking and powerful microwave - worlds apart from our previous one. Heats everything evenly and quickly. Good power range - difference is you can actually see the power being selected instead of 1, 2, 3.... which is a great feature. Can easily fit the largest plates we have (wouldn't go in to the old one) with no issues at all. Absolutely worth the premium.

Replaced my 6 years old Panasonic slimline Microwave with this Panasonic product (NN-ST48KSBPQ). Research and recommendations all pointed to this as the perfect replacement and so far it has been 5 star replacement. The auto sensor technology & programs are great improvement in cooking technology. Multi timers warnings are standouts. Still trying out some of the numerous recipes Wonderful products and I recommend it
