    Not quality for money

Not the best a few weeks after purchasing the rubber seal along with the spring between the drum and the door of the washing machine detached it self.

Good machine with good regular washing cycle time/temp, however could offer more quick options for higher temp settings

    5/5
So far so good. Relatively quiet spin and clothes come out well spin and not soaking wet. Good capacity. The 45 min cycle is good to do regular washes but to wash bedding and towels at 60 degrees the only option is to do a 3/4 hour cycle which I didn’t realise when buying as the temp of the 45 min cycle is max 40 degrees. The quick wash button to reduce time doesn’t seem to work on most programmes, only the quick 30 min wash taking it to 15 mins. Overall a good washing machine but could offer a quicker wash for higher degree wash needs.

    Settling in Well.

    4/5
My Hotpoint washing machine arrived in fine fettle and I installed it with the minimum of fuss, despite some struggling with the fitting. The dimensions stated in the stats were slightly smaller than my original washing machine, but somehow the new machine seemed to be a tighter fit and I struggled with the installing. Could she have put on weight en route? However, I was impressed with the delivery tracking service, which I must say performed impeccably. Well done AO! So far so good with the Hotpoint, she has settled in well and appears to be enjoying her new home. I've put her on a strict diet and exercise routine and must say she responding well..

    Don’t buy it

Hate to say this but a man must have designed it, looks great and spin ( when it does) is quiet but I have to keep going back to it to switch programmes if I choose a thirty minute wash and god help you if you put two bath sheets in at once! Sorry but I brought it based on my old Hotpoint but this one is awful

    Hugely Disappointing

    2/5
I think this machine is awful. I bought it to replace a Hotpoint Aquarius machine I loved. I've used about 4 cycles so far. The Eco cycle left everything soaking wet and I had to spin and drain separately. The quick wash does nothing but rinse clothes - it removes no stains, spills or marks whatsoever. It is quieter and with a bigger drum capacity than my former machine but that is just the progress of all washing machines. The quality of wash is much poorer and AO's delivery service has certainly deteriorated in the last 2 years. I won't be using them again and previously they have been my go to supplier for household electricals.

A great machine for the price. Why pay more ?

    4/5
It's good value for money and has lots of features that the more expensive machines have such as variable spin speeds etc. My last Hotpoint washing machine lasted me 14 years and I loved it. Was sad to see it go. Hopefully this one will give the same service. You don't need a degree in computing to work it either. Straight forward. Select programme and if you want or need to, reduce temperature and reduce spin speed. Simple! I like that you can add items you forgot to put in too. One mystery. It switches on, clicks (locks door) turns tub once then clicks off. Then... clicks on again and starts washing. I don't know why it does this and it's unnerving at first, but after reading the instructions, that's what it's supposed to do, so don't worry! By the way, the instructions you can find easily online are much better than the printed ones that come with it.

Only washes to 40 degrees but I suspect this may be the case with all new machines. Cycles are very long but does wash well

    Not for me

Not a very long spin so washing comes out too wet , even if you do an extra spin , would not recommend especially in winter .
