It seems very noisy when spinning even when just a small load also it move across space.

I've had various makes of washing machines over 50years of being a housewife, including a Hotpoint. I've never been so disappointed in an expensive purchase as I have been in this one. The programmes are mostly very long, even with a button that states a shortening of some chosen programmes - the spin circles are all pretty ineffective, no matter what time they give, leaving my washing much wetter than I want to put in a tumble dryer. I wish I had researched more before making a choice and I would NOT have bought this model - a much cheaper option could have been a much better buy. Sorry Hotpoint, but will neve buy again!

I always buy Hotpoint washing machines, but the last one I bought was disappointing. This new one is much better and although it doesn’t hold so much washing it is much better. It has revived my love of Hotpoint washing machines

This machine seems ideal for a small family or a couple like us. A 7kg capacity is more than enough and as the machine comes with various cycles the 45 minute cycle is a welcome addition. A neat size that fits under our worktop and doesn't stick out as our previous washer did. All in all we can recommend this machine to others.

I’ve only done maybe 10 washes so far over the course of a few weeks but the machine has been great so far. I tend to cold wash everything to save on energy and the clothes have come out clean and fresh each time, even on the 45 min cycle (though I try to do longer if I can). The spin cycle does seem quite loud to me, not louder than my previous machine but not as quiet as some reviews had me hoping ??. I have had to do an extra spin cycle once or twice after shorter cycles as the clothes still felt very wet. I like the way the detergent drawer opens and have found it easy to keep the machine clean. I always wipe out the inside seal as there tends to be a small puddle of water in the door after each wash that just doesn’t quite drain away and I want to avoid mould growing there!

A good all round washing machine. Could benefit from an end of cycle alert function. Love the extra rinse option.

Once again Hotpoint washing machines have been good to their promise. Quiet action with efficient cleaning. Spins quietly with all variable speeds. Looks good and performance good. Love the 45 minute programe.

Love this no nonsense straight forward washing machine. Had a Hoover & didn’t like it at all so back to hotpoint
