Once again Hotpoint washing machines have been good to their promise. Quiet action with efficient cleaning. Spins quietly with all variable speeds. Looks good and performance good. Love the 45 minute programe.

Love this no nonsense straight forward washing machine. Had a Hoover & didn’t like it at all so back to hotpoint

Review is based on a couple of months moderate use (2,3 time a week) - It's easy to use, fast, remarkably vibration-free and quiet - all plus points, and none of the negatives which are sometimes a problem with moderately priced machines like this.

Fairly quiet wash and spin. It has a useful self cleaning button to help with maintenance.

Bought this to replace a previous Hotpoint machine. Had it running a few weeks now and am happy to report that it has no issues. I would say that it is not the quietest machine that I have witnessed, but it is also not at the expensive end of washing machines, so I wasn't expecting it to be. Great load door which is slightly wider than the old machine which makes it easier getting the items in and out. Solid feel to the plastics around the door and drawer mechanisms. In terms of wash functions, I tend to do medium size loads on shorter washes, for which this has been great! I have only used the long wash functions a couple of times and although they take quite a considerable time, the outcome of the washes with bed sheets for instance, has been great too. The 1400 spin speed hasn't seemed to affect the drying times once out of the machine, so once again it has been great.

I am very impressed. Adjustable temperature is a brilliant feature so that I can wash towels at 60degrees. The 45 minute wash cycle is amazing and something I have never had on a machine before. Economical, time saving and gentler on clothes.

Loving this machine. There is several options for a fast wash and temperatures You are also able to stop the machine and open the door to add washing you forgot to put in, great when you find the odd sock you dropped on the way to the machine. There is a lot of clicking at the beginning when you start the machine which ti start with I found annoying, but now don’t take any notice of it
