I am absolutely horrified at the length of time each wash is programmed for, three hours and 19 minutes for the 30 to 40° wash, unbelievable! Sadly my clothes, being fairly old, will certainly not survive! fortunately my daughter has pointed out that there is a 45 minute wash so I shall have to use that for everything. Makes all the other programs totally pointless doesn’t it Badly done. Hotpoint, I had my last Hotpoint for 22 years, with none of these stupidities!

Not draining properly. Had to wait for them to check installation. Told me installation is all fine and washing machine is faulty so they will replace it. Then get a call from ao after installers visit. Confirm my details then get put on hold for half an hour (you called me!?!) Confirm more details with another chap. Tells me he needs to speak to hotpoint to confirm the fault. You literally just had people at my house telling me it was faulty. Back on hold I go. Now I've got to wait another week for hotpoint engineer to come out. Told they will charge me 70 pound if its a fault with installation, zero chance I will be paying that. No washing machine for 2 weeks and multiple wasted hours dealing with this. The only point during this when I've had decent service is when they rang me up and tried to sell me their extortionate insurance, unsurprisingly I wasn't put on hold during that call.

Item broken for 3 weeks now and AO hasn’t been able to fix the problem. They keep sending me to hot points though in still within my 30 days return warranty, one year warranty from hotpoint and D&G warranty. My laundry still stuck in the machine and it’s wasting my electricity because machine won’t turn off despite sending engineers on two occasions to fix it. So disappointed

I wish I had kept my old machine. I have had nothing but problems with this machine, the first one that I received never worked! It had multiple faults with it, so it was exchanged. The one I have works, but I am very unhappy with it, first of all it is VERY noisy!! Noisier than my 8yr old machine! Not only is it loud but it’s screeches! The noise is horrific. Secondly, the machine gets so hot and radiates so much heat that it makes my kitchen boiling, even on a 40 wash it was hot enough to slightly burn me when I touched the glass door. This machine has also not spun a few times, leaving a pool of water in the bottom. As for the extremely long cycles… I ignored other peoples reviews about how long the cycles were, but please don’t underestimate how long they truly are, I’ve found a few washes I can use, but I am unable to use a majority of the washing machines full features and all bar 2 wash cycles as they are between 2.5-over 4 hours long! So far my washing has come out clean, which is literally the only positive from this machine, but if I had a choice, I would throw this one out and get a new one. So disappointed

This washing machine is okay for the price, but it has one major flaw - all its programmes other than the very quick wash are around the three hour mark. It wouldn't be so bad if it actually took the time it said on the screen, but I regularly start wash programmes that then go on for nearly an hour longer than the time stated - today I used a stopwatch and a 2:45 programme went on for 3:58. The timer just keeps ticking upwards. I dread to think how much energy is being used, and it also messes up laundry day - even if you start the machine first thing, by the time the machine has finished it's getting too late in the day to hang it out and get it dry. It gets things VERY clean, which is great, but so it should when it's taking four hours to wash a few tops and jeans!

Arrived on the 17th March, did not work. Engineer came yesterday 23rd March to fix, still does not work! Clearly there is a problem with it. Disappointed with this brand. Would not recommend.

Extremely happy. Loads of programmes but have only used the mixed load which takes 90 minutes. Not sure why the cotton programme takes over 3 hours? The 30 minute wash only spins to 800 rpm. When starting the machine it seems to fill and empty a little bit (presumably to flush out the hoses?) before starting the programme. The actual height is 84cm so just fits under my 84.5cm counter. My last Hotpoint lasted 12 years with no breakdowns, so hopefully this is as reliable.

The guys delivered my washing machine with care and spent time in taking my old one away and plumb my new one in they did a fantastic job and would recommend you buy from ao . This is the second item I have purchased from ao and will buy what I need in the future well done ao one very happy customer
