The machine was great on first use then developed a fault with the water filling valve narrowing avoiding flooding the kitchen. AO advised us to call manufacturer directly and an engineer from Hotpoint was dispatched who confirmed the fault and after discussion a New Machine is being delivered from Hotpoint.

So far so good. Nothing to complain about. Easy to install and looks good. Only used the 45 minute wash so far, but with a bigger capacity than my old one it will easily take curtains, etc.

Looks lovely, has lots of programmes that some people will love to have, one downside for me personally is that I have low water pressure and the ‘mixed load’ doesn’t complete due to not enough water being put through. I am using the eco programme and that works fine just takes forever to go through. If I had known it wouldn’t work in a low pressure area (rural farm cottage) I would have bought a different model. Apart from that it is a lovely machine. Have only given a 4 rating because of water problem.
