I love this heat pump dryer. Emptying the water from the top is a game changer and the fluff catcher inside is more substantial than the normal dryers.

The tumble dryer is fine and works well, just what it says on the tin. It was delivered on time. The men were helpful, installed the new one and took away the old one without question.

I love the functionality & easy to use programmes

Unfortunately there was a problem with the individual machine we received, it took forever to dry 2 sheets and some pillowcases and they were still damp at the end of it plus there must have been something sharp somewhere in the drum as it pulled lots of threads and left tiny holes all over the bedding items. The AO staff were brilliant in helping to sort the issue and we opted for a replacement but went for a vented dryer instead.

Product seems to do exactly what it says it does quieter and more efficient than our old dryer

Not a great dryer. There’s no timer so you have to choose a drier setting eg cupboard dry but that doesn’t always work. The dryer sometimes stops mid cycle for no reason. It. Does take an age eg 2.5 hours for a duvet and one pillow but that’s the downside of saving energy .After 20 months It has now developed a really noisy screeching sound so it’s time to contact Hotpoint. Wouldn’t buy again.

Really lovely machine very quiet and dries washing really well.
