After one year it is no longer drying the clothes. The pump and the sensor for detecting heat have been changed and it still doesn't work. It was 3 days past it's warranty and Hotpoint refused to come out without us paying. The last engineer to leave said there wasn't much else he could do. We now need to buy a new dryer. AVOID!

Love my new heat pump tumble dryer. Easy to use, emptying the water tank which is located at the top of dryer and cleaning the filter is so easy, no hassle whatsoever. Very quiet when on and clothes come out perfect for ironing if needed. Can’t comment on costing the usage yet but very pleased overall. Very happy with my purchase.

Broke down after 15 months despite regular cleaning of the filter and infrequent use. I registered for the warranty but after 12 months it had run out. Cost me £100 to fix.

We had an old condensing tumble dryer and replaced it with a modern heat pump one instead. Much quieter, very pleased. Program times seemed a little long but they don't run for anything like that time thanks to the dryness sensor. So far we are very happy with this purchase.

Great product. Looks good and very easy to use. Just pop your items in shut the door choose the programme by rotating the dial press go and wait for it to finish. (Simple)

In all my 75years I have never owned a tumble dryer (and never seen Star Wars) but am now convinced it is a "must have" laundry aid. We opted for the A++ heat pump model for cost effectiveness and environmental reasons and it does what is says on the tin. Best of all are the luxurious fluffy towels- not been like this since new, and the bedding which is much much softer. Why did I wait so long for this marvel?

The dryer is very easy to use and very quick and easy to clean after each use. The only negative comment I could make about it is the plastic panel on the front which covers one of the filters. The clasp hasn't been made well and often opens during use, but the filter behind it is clipped in tightly and so this cover doesn't affect the filter or performance in any way. The device is quiet and my clothes and towels come out feeling very soft. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommended.

Our old condenser decided to give up earlier in the year. After taking months to decide and pick a new dryer, we decided on this one. The positive reviews was a decision maker for us. The dryer is very quiet and super easy to use. The drying time indicates when starting but then recalculates with the load, so often a much quicker drying time. We have a smart meter and when the dryer is in use the meter stay green showing minimal energy usage!
