    Hotpoint Heat Pump

Good delivery service as usual from AO. The tumble drier is doing what a good tumble should do; dry without fuss. Can’t fault it so far. I can’t comment on the cost as we’ve only had it for a few weeks.

    Great tumble dryer

Great tumble dryer, some things come out a little damp but that’ll just be because some things dry quicker than others. Happy with level of noise it makes. Easy to remove and clean fluff filter and water container.

    Heat pump the way forward

All seams good liked the put it anywhere in the house however the 65db is quite loud and even louder when the buttons, hoody toggles bash the glass as they go round and round for 1 or 2 hours, yes it does take longer than a conventional tumbler dryer. It’s active care accreditation not to sure about produces lots of fluff in both filters it is tumbling the clothes for twice as long? Overall I like the machine you put the stuff in turn it on, it stops when clothes are dry.

So glad I bought this instead of the cheaper options

Oh my gosh, what a great tumbledryer. So much quieter than my previous. With the 8kg capacity, it is also bigger than my washing machine…. Which is good as it can take more of the weight of wet items after it has been washed. I also love the fact that I use less electricity and there is less moisture going around the room during the drying process. My only concern is that I might need a degree in the mechanics of tumbledryers as there are soooo many knobs and functions. Sometimes simpler is better.

    Good, but could be better.

Positives are that it seems ok to dry clothes that we would never have put in our old vented dryer, so no more hanging things on clothes horses or radiators. It's all handy that it stops when the clothes have reached the required dryness, so no unnecessary running. Negatives are it sometimes stops too early if there is a wide mix of fabrics, thinner fabrics end up dry, while thicker fabrics still feel slightly damp. The noise is also a bit intrusive at times. It's never loud, but the water pump has a distracting timbre.

    Great, energy efficient machine

Great machine - runs quietly and easy to set for a programme or just for a set drying time. My only issue so far is that the drying cycles adjust their length based on the dryness of the load to reduce the full cycle time and this isn't always accurate and I end up with a load that is still slightly damp and needs to go on again.

    No more laundry blues.

I'm very happy with my dryer it's so quiet. Seems weird though not setting a timer as it stops when the laundry is dry. The only downside is that it does take a long time.
