So far the hotpoint heat pump dryer is working well. It's quiet and in comparison to my old candy heat pump dryer, reasonably quick. The programs are easy to use. Looks ok.

The only problem was the lack of instructions on the drain option. There are 2 pipes and no indication of which is the drain/overflow, a simple label on the hoses who suffice! The operation appears to be quite simple. The filters are easily accessible. As ever AO delivered in time advised and lots of communication and guys were friendly and put the dryer where we requested.

A good tumble dryer, though I wish it was easier to figure out how to dry things on low heat. Our last one just had a high/low button and a timer. This one has fifteen options. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it could be clearer in the instruction manual. The 'Gentle' setting is only actually allowed for three of the fifteen programmes, none of which were the programme for the fabric I was drying. The lint catcher worries me a bit, as the clothes get pushed to the front when they spin and they rub past the grated bit all the time. It hasn't damaged anything yet, but it looks like a perfect way to rip buttons off. It also doesn't sit flush with the rim. But anyway, it dries clothes, and that's what matters.

Been using for about 2 weeks and everything seems fine. It's easy to use and both filters easy to clean. Drying appears no different to my previous condenser dryer but does use less electric to do it when checking the smart meter which as energy prices are rising should pay for Itself in savings quicker.

Love how soft the towels are when they come out, not so keen on the length of time it takes to dry them, takes longer than I thought but so far works very well, filters are easy to access and emptying the water also very easy.

Had this for about a week and it's very quiet. Does take a little longer to dry but overall very pleased with our purchase. Cash back from AO for old dryer has been arranged very quickly.

Like that this is energy efficient. Does take longer than my old vented dryer but I expected that. Only feature I really miss is the “post care” which keeps it warm until you empty it. This means if you don’t get to it right away it will be creased.
