An excellent heat pump tumble dryer! A much needed improvement over my old machine, it's extremely quiet, cost-effective and seems to be doing a good job at keeping the clothes in good condition thanks to the ActiveCare feature. Time will tell how the dryer goes, but I have high hopes for this Hotpoint.

Dries clothes quickly and mich quieter than I expected, would definitely recommend

I’ve had this tumble dryer about 2 years now and never had any problems with it although I don’t often use it. I just bought new towels and instead of adding fabric softener, thought I’d tumble dry them for 10 minutes to soften after indoor drying. My new towels are snagged to bits :-(. Putting my hand inside the rim, I can feel quite a sharp piece of metal, very disappointed in this product now. Unless I’ve been unlucky, I cannot recommend.

Dries well on all programmes, slow though. Wool programme dries properly and is gentle.

Fantastic piece of equipment, does what it says on the tin. The sensor regulates the drying time and usually it take far less than the predicted time which is great. Clothes come out soft and dry. We found clothes are much less creased but not perfect (as expected). It's also very quite and doesn't rattle the whole house like some dryers do. This machine was way out of our budget but we are very glad we made the stretch. Delivery from AO drivers was seamless and on time. The placed the machine exactly where we wanted it and were very careful when coming through the house. All around a 5 star service.

Nice looking machine, good design all the parts seem sturdy, just slightly louder than expected - must be due to it being a Heat Pump model. Happy.

Very pleased with performance and the overall drying time on a mixed fabric load. Ideal for our medium/large sized family of 5 (2A + 3c). Chosen not to plumb in the water hose for the time being and emptying the water container is not at all as inconvenient as I thought it would be. Hopefully will see the electricity savings in time by choosing this A+++ model. Overall very satisfied so far (owned for 1 month).
