Lots of features available, but one month in from using, we find ourselves just using the Cottons cycle. The water reservoir was filling up quite regularly. It's surprising how quickly it became full. So we've managed to simply plumb the water drainage pipe to the drain, making life so much simpler. Instructions on how to plumb the pipe is really bad. FYI - If you are wanting to plumb into the drain, pull the WHITE pipe from the TOP of the dryer leaving it connected at the bottom. We are still getting used to the dryer, but our impression is that although our electric bill may be much cheaper now, it takes hours to complete its cycle AND the clothes come out ever so slightly damp when finished. We thought its intelligent system means it finishes when dry. Obviously not! Again, it may be too early in our testing stage and we need to select 'better options'. So we are giving it 4 out of 5 for now as it may be due user error. Time will tell.

Looks great. Got it delivered into the room I needed it and hooking it up was simple. I haven't moved in yet as this was for a new house. I'll update my review after I've used the machine for s few months to give more reliable feedback.

Replaced a Zanussi that had lasted us 10 years. Hopefully this one will last as long. Clothes dried, not too noisy, and fairly easy to use. Like that you can connect the outlet pipe to drain to save emptying the drawer.

Excellent washing machine.. so many easy to follow programmes. The whole purchase to deliver and installation was so smooth

An excellent heat pump tumble dryer! A much needed improvement over my old machine, it's extremely quiet, cost-effective and seems to be doing a good job at keeping the clothes in good condition thanks to the ActiveCare feature. Time will tell how the dryer goes, but I have high hopes for this Hotpoint.

Dries clothes quickly and mich quieter than I expected, would definitely recommend

I’ve had this tumble dryer about 2 years now and never had any problems with it although I don’t often use it. I just bought new towels and instead of adding fabric softener, thought I’d tumble dry them for 10 minutes to soften after indoor drying. My new towels are snagged to bits :-(. Putting my hand inside the rim, I can feel quite a sharp piece of metal, very disappointed in this product now. Unless I’ve been unlucky, I cannot recommend.
