Going from a non sensor dryer to this - game changer (in a good way). For anyone wondering, yes, the water can be discharged to a pipe rather than the collection unit in the machine. The outlet pipe isn’t very long, so the pipe you put it in to will need to be basically right behind the machine.

Bought this Hotpoint dryer and if developed a fault after a week. Both AO and Hotpoint were great and organised a replacement to bd delivered within a week. The new one has arrived and it works perfectly. I hold thoroughly recommend both Hotpoint and AO and this tumble dryer.

Very pleased with my purchase, Had never heard of a heated pump tumble dryer before so was a little nervous that the extra cost to buy really would pay off. Definitely cheaper to run than my previous vented tumble dryer, just need to get used to longer drying times. It gets a big thumbs up from me.

Only used it briefly once- quiet machine and easy to operate. Would have liked more instructions. Looks and feels to be good quality.
