Best vacuum I have ever had. I have had Oreck; Dyson and Henry and this beats them all. Suction is adjustable which as so strong it sticks to carpet in some rooms as such so hard is a good thing. It was cheaper on AO than the manufacturers site and quicker delivery. Highly recommend. Converts from upright to smaller for doing stairs etc. Is there nothing it can’t do, if it did DIY or could cook I would marry it!

I would have liked to have given this 5 stars but unfortunately I can't. For hard floors this is perfect and fits right underneath kitchen cupboards and all the way under the coffee table without knocking into it and I really like the lights which show up the bits you would have missed. I like the lift away option for stairs and for the hard to reach cobwebs on ceilings and the extra long cable is a bonus as I can do the whole downstairs in one go from 1 plug instead of 2! Unfortunately, even on the carpet and low suction settings this chews up the rugs and is extremely hard work on the bedroom carpets so for this reason, I've had to keep hold of my old hoover for now.

I purchased two of these vacuums initially, one for me and one for my mum. When I opened mine and started using it it was so heavy to push even on the carpet setting and with minimum suction. I spoke to Shark who were really helpful and gave me a code for a refund which I was pleased with but, I actually ended up using it a few more times and getting used to it and keeping it. It’s very effective and our carpets are floors are spotless after using, it gets up all the dirt. It was easy to assemble and it’s easy to use, take apart and put all the different settings on etc.. I did return the one I bought as a gift for my mum because there’s no way she would have been able to manage it so I’d avoid buying it, if you’re elderly, disabled or have any problems with your joints.

I’ve always used Henry but fancied a change & glad I did , the shark collects so much more dust and pet hair

We were a little weary when purchasing this hoover because of the reviews of it being difficult to push on carpets—but we're so glad we went ahead! Admittedly, we only have low-pile carpets, but we're able to use it even on maximum power with no problem. We also have two very hairy dogs that shed a lot, and this hoover has no problem at all picking up their hair from the carpets and sofas. Would definitely recommend!

Great Vacuum. have had it for two weeks now and it is very efficient. The suction is really good. However, and this is why I gave 4 stars not five, on my long pile carpets I cannot use the Max button. The suction is so hard you cannot move the appliance and even on Minimum, it is quite hard to push around. Overall very pleased with it.

This cleans really well as you would expect from a Shark. However it is so heavy. If you want something you can manoeuvre around quite easily this is not it. However if weight is not a problem for you you’ll love this.

This cleaner has a lot of suction and does pick up well but that is the problem, on some carpets and floors it is just too powerful and "sticks" to the ground even on the minimum suck setting. I am a bit disappointed as this makes it so hard to use on some floors - I am in my 40s and fit but it can be really hard work to push around. I would not really recommend.
