I have found the Shark Stratos Pet Pro vacuum to be great for picking up dirt and really cleaning the house well but the device itself is quite annoying. The device is quieter than other vacuums I've used which was a nice surprise. If you only have to use on carpets and hard floors and no attachments, then it is a brilliant machine however if you want to use the hose and extend then you are in for a heavy time. The device has a very small hose and there is not enough of it to leave on the floor while working up a wall or to the ceiling. You have to lift the whole device and it becomes heavy very quickly. It was also too powerful on any setting for mats and would scruple the mats and jam everything. I've had to do these separate now using the hand tools just to clean something that before took 3 goes of the full head. Cleaning the stairs is difficult too as the device cannot be put down as if left on a step, it will easily fall down the stairs when you move the hose. It is not a stable device but the plug extension is long - its a shame that isn't a useful thing when the device itself does not give the option to use it. I wish that I'd went into a shop and tried it out as I would not have bought it knowing what I do now. Cleaning wise, it is excellent but usage wise is difficult and heavy and something I would not recommend to anyone. Ordering and delivery was fast from AO.COM - I had no problems there.

Had 2 Dyson animal prior to this one and have always been pleased. But the dust it hoovers up after a few days is shocking. I have two black dogs so I have a robotic vacuum during the week to keep up with the hair and when I use my shark it’s full of dust. Very happy with my product.

We have had a few different vacuum cleaners over the years. Have strayed between corded and cordless, however have never had a Shark before. We read so many reviews before opting for this model. So pleased we went for it though. Works across carpets, rugs and the hard floors. Really easy to use on the stairs with the detachable section. I have vacuumed more with the vacuum than before as the amount of dirt and dust it pulls up is really noticeable. Ever so slightly top heavy but only knocked over once and now already used to it. If you are in the market for a new vacuum and are considering this Shark, I would say stop wondering and go for it.

Fantastic Hoover specially when you have pets

This my 2nd shark cleaner. Have found it better than my first.

Very efficient cleaner. Cleans and conditions the pile much better than my previous cordless. Very well built with some clever ideas. Plenty of cord to stretch out and simple to empty with no chance of making a mess. I love it.

Best vacuum ever

Excellent- very pleased with my purchase. Easy to use, great suction. Works well on hard floors and carpets.
