Good product for this price easy setting

I thought for a 50” Smart TV at a reasonable price with 4K Ultra HD, I would give it a go. It is easily handleable, and attaching the two feet is simple, just two screws to each with a small screwdriver needed. I attached all the necessary leads (except the digital sound lead; see below) before turning on and connecting to my Router with Ethernet, it connected automatically. If connecting by WiFi, you will need your password. On turning on, I just needed to set the language and my area for the correct TV reception, and it set itself up. The remote that comes with it is fairly standard but does have quick connection buttons for certain Apps. The sound from the TV is not the best, and the speakers are at the back, which does not help. This is where I plugged my Sound Bar in for sound I would call good. The screen gives a good sharp picture with good colour, and there are plenty of controls to alter things to your taste. However…… one annoying feature (this may just be me) is that when viewing sports, a solid background, i.e. grass, shows the light of LEDs down each side. This doesn’t seem to affect films or TV programmes where the background is not wholly plain and therefore does not spoil the enjoyment of those programmes, but as I watch a lot of football, this may become an irritant. I have tried all sorts of alterations to the controls, but nothing seems to make a difference. As I said, this may be just me. The user manual is a bit bland but gives the information you need and there is a two-year warranty.

We decided on this one as we didn’t get on with an LG at a similar price point. In my opinion this is far superior to LG. The smart layout is very easy to navigate and it’s very responsive. I can’t recommend this more, it’s fantastic

Great size, great picture quality but the sound quality is very tinny, definitely get a soundbar or something if you get this. Tried all the different sound settings

Inexpensive 50" TV - arrived on time and was bought in by 2 people. We use the TV as a CCTV monitor, which it does well.
