My wife is delighted. We have a good quality vacuum cleaner and she had just used it on our living room carpet before the Shark was delivered. She tried out the Shark as soon as she got it and was surprised how much dust it picked up from the recently vacuumed floor. Her only criticism is that it is a little heavier to use than she expected. She has an injured shoulder.

Really happy with the shark powerdetect vacuum cleaner. It cleans really well & gets in area's I couldn't before. Great not to empty it so much, it's a lot more gentle on the carpets due to it changes from floor to carpet. The light help you see in area's you may miss. A great buy.

The suction power is great and changes depending on the flooring. The automatic clearing of the container is a great time saver. Recommended.

Believe the hype! I read a lot of reviews about a lot of vacuum cleaners, all different brands were considered. Overall, this Shark model got the most favourable reviews so I decided to invest in it. It is excellent! It cleans off both the push and pull stroke so cleaning is much faster. Automatic adjustments between carpets and hard floors. The jointed tube makes light work of cleaning under furniture. The self-empty system is a huge convenience. The hype was justified. This vacuum is really well thought out and designed.
