    Quality Engineering and Design

    5/5
I really love Sage’s (Breville’s) approach to coffee making at home. The quality and detail in the design and engineering really shines through on this machine. Stainless Steel body, Conical Burr grinder and other components. Be aware, that this machine doesnt do it all for you. I think “bean to cup” can be a little misleading to some that aren’t aware of the knowledge required to produce a proper espresso coffee. Instead of a “push button, get coffee” machine, you get you a more involving experience. You need to be aware of bean freshness, grind size, pressure and temperatures ranges, all of which are all required to make a perfect cup of coffee. You will also need to master the milk frother, if you like Flat Whites or Latte’s. YouTube has some great videos to help you, they will give you a better insight to how the machine works, and how to develop your skills further. If you enjoy the detail in making barista style coffee, this is the machine for you. If you want a machine that does a little more for you try the Sage Barista Touch, or even Oracle Touch... if you have the budget.

First impressions are very good, machine looks the part. After a week I am managing to pour good consistent espresso shots. Grinder easy to use. Magnetic Tamp is a good feature. Still getting the hang of the steam wand. Coffee tastes fantastic!

    Excellent good looking machine

Excellent good looking machine, well worth the extra expensive over cheaper products. Makes better coffee than you can get on the high street and will pay for itself in the long run. Happy chappy.

I’m really pleased with this - it’s about 20% larger than I thought, but along with that everything has a really pro, weighty feel from the portafilter to everything else. Quite easy to get to grips with and with helpful instructions and tips in the box, and makes really great coffee. Has enough nobs and controls that you can tweak it as you like and for different coffees, but with the auto grinder you can belt out an espresso in a couple of minutes... The milk jar (included) is also pretty nifty with a little heat sense strip so you can avoid burning your milk. I bought the knock box separately, and now i’m annoyed my friends don’t have one... reminds me to empty the filter after use rather than baking the coffee in for a day! All highly recommended...

This is a super machine that fully lived up to expectations. It is efficient and very good looking. It is easy to use when you have read through the specific instructions, you do need to take some time to get to know it. I am really pleased with my purchase.

    Amazing coffee machine!

This is a great investment if you enjoy making high quality coffee at home! It's also really convenient to have everything in one machine without a need for a separate grinder or milk frother.

A really good solid product, feels solid and looks really good. A great machine, however if you want something that requires minimal effort then this machine might not be for you. It take quite a lot of practice to get the coffee extraction process right, but other than that a fantastic machine.
