The lift away function is amazing and so helpful - saves a lot of issues trying to do the stairs or hard to reach places.

This vacuum is generally good. it has a good range of suction, which is easy to adjust. The two main problems that I have with it is that it is actually very heavy feeling to use, and also long hair (despite its USP being that it disentangles long hair as it goes) did actually tangle around the rotating brush and stop it rotating. To free it up I had to cut the hair away (just like all other rotating brush vacuum cleaners) from the brush. Another niggle is that when winding up the cable, it needs to be pushed past one of the accessories that are stored on the side with each wind of the cable, which is frankly a bit irritating, and also the cable doesn't really stay up on the winding 'hooks' as you are using the cleaner, it keeps unwinding and falling onto the floor, usually where you are trying to push the vacuum to clean up. It really needs a better design for this so that the unused portion of cable is held back better. When using it close to side walls and skirting, and pushing the vacuum straight on, there is quite a sizeable margin of the floor that it doesn't pick up from, which surprised me. This is easy to see because it has a handy light at the front of the main cleaning head. This means that you have to get the crevice tools, or other accessories off and get down there to pick up those last bits of fluff, crumbs, dust and other debris. This all seems to make the chore quite laborious. Not what I was expecting from such an advanced level and very expensive machine!

Good light weight vacuum perfect for elderly people

Amazing hoover, can’t believe the difference. My carpeys look brand new again. Its a bit heavy but that may be why if feels like its getting deep into the fibres of the carpet. Great on wooden floors too

Replaced my old Shark after many years. This is a quiter machine, very easy to manoeuvre. Has button for carpet or hard floor which is reallyuseful. Picks up short dog hairs well. Very efficient and effective vaccum cleaner. Extremely happy with purchase.

Great hoover, better and lighter than our old Dyson ball.

I love this hoover, I’ve always had Dyson hoovers. I like the anti wrap aspect of it and it picks up much more than my old one. I thought I’d ordered a cordless one but I hadn’t, it’s got a long cord so it’s not an issue at all. Im very pleased with my purchase.

We’ve owned a Dyson for years that’s lasted well but the robustness & weight has been its downside I’ve read enough reviews to finally order this Shark cleaner & only wish I’d brought it sooner! It’s design is superb everything you read & see really don’t do it justice, I’m a man getting excited about hoovering that says it all :0)
