My wife has had a Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner for 17 years which she has swore as being one of the best for suction power, I have always had a problem with the Miele, the long hose, I kept on tripping over it a getting tangled in the power cord, so thought we would try the Shark upright vacuum cleaner, We were both blown away with the amount of suction it has, even more than the Miele, but also able to adjust the suction. Also the lights are a plus we love it, only trouble now is my wife expect me to use it more.??

Great product. Easy to assemble and use. Great suction and easily accessible switches from carpet to hard floor and suction levels.
