It’s ‘OK’ but not particularly impressed. I had the Dyson Ball for years but it needed replacing as got too noisy. I’d heard that Shark were as good, at a cheaper price. I definitely prefer this cordless one to the Dyson stick as that is very top heavy and you have to keep your finger on the control. I like the fact it folds in half for easier storage (as did my Dyson). However, there’s no instruction leaflet and when I scanned the QR code it took me to a sales page!! I’ve yet to work out how to get access to the filter … in time I’m sure I’ll figure it out, but not as yet.

The battery is not the best, I use it for just a quick tidy up, not a full vacuum as the battery would not do the whole house. The attachments are quite useful and you can get different ones available online too. There is an attachments bag in the box too which is great for keeping all the bits together.

Really efficient A bit heavier than expected

All the weight is at the top which means you can’t stand up unless it’s leaning against a wall. This makes it awkward when you need to stop and move furniture or other items or else just clean round them. Battery life seems to be 40mins, we can’t get an hour out of it when cleaning a 50:50 mix of carpeted and hardwood floors.

This will be my third Shark. The first one I gave to my daughter when I wanted to upgrade model, I’m moving into a three storey home so want an extra one for the second floor. As ever with Shark, great suction, easy to clean and trouble free use.
