This monitor was to replace one previously used for photo editing and general use. The new screen has a smaller footprint, thin bezel and stunning graphics. I often set up my screen to ensure that colours match those in photographic prints using a calibration tool. I think that the calibration device is unlikely to make such dramatic changes in future because of the correctness of this monitor's colours.

Nice monitor with great ergonomics! Not quite as sharp as I'd have thought (compared to retina displays), but still a great quality screen! Good for content creators like myself, as it has a great colour range but not great in the blacks.

Colours are bright and vibrant and makes my old monitor look dull. The monitor it self seems well made. As for colour calibration it's very good. There was very little after I used my xrite calibration tool.

An amazing 27" screen for photo editing. It comes with accurate colours out of the box and comes at a great price compared to the competition.

Best entry level monitor for colour accuracy. Screen presets has an sRGB mode and others depending on which standard you're working to. You will however still want to calibrate it yourself as it did need altered via the rgb offsets until programs like spyder and datacolour are happy. They reported my monitor as 99% sRGB coverage. Very easy to attach the stand and lots of connection options. Came with hdmi and display port cables which I wasn't expecting. Im happy with my purchase.

Nice Monitor for photo editing. Very bright of of the box. Select sRGB mode to calm things down. Not really a gaming monitor as AO description, you probably want a faster refresh rate for that
