Just bought this gas hob and after it been installed found one burner was faulty. Had to book an engineer visit to repair. Not happy

Bought this to replace my 17 year old Bosch Oven. I always insist on Bosch products because they used to have a policy of not making inferior quality products to suit price. I was alarmed to see that the quality is now cheap, made from thinner metal , added to this there was less clearance at the back of the oven to accommodate any gas pipework if you have a gas hob above it. Far from impressed with the way Bosch have now become a cheapo quality appliance. From now on I will pay less and buy Beko

We purchased this gas hob as our old Siemens decided to die after almost 20 years of daily usage. Although this Bosch appliance does what is says on the tin, we found it of inferior quality compared to our old one. On second thoughts I would have spent a little bit more and bought something sturdier. The gas knobs look a little fragile and almost flimsy. The grid is very light and not in cast iron as we thought. Apart from that the appliance looks smart and it is easy to clean.

Solid Bosch hob, although looks less high end in reality than online

Appears to be a reasonably good, solid product, though the control knobs lack a positive 'off' position. The pan supports are described as 'cast iron' though the fine corner joints suggest they may be welded steel with a cast effect finish (a good finish) though these rock a little due to not being manufactured flat.

It’s ok wasn’t as pleased as I thought I would be with it. It’s not working properly so waiting for engineer to come out despite having it less than a week

Was really disappointed with this job. It sits really badly on the worktop. Kitchen fitted was not impressed.

The pan holders are not good quality, the knobs are too close together which causes an obstruction when switching on.
